I get that you have to use the parts you have,but The origional forks were strong steel,the bikes came stock with 6 " wheels,I love my vintage bonanza,they are tough as nails and a real kick in the ass to ride!! Im guessing with 8" wheels,it will have a fast top end. have fun guys!

Would anyone have a good reference or a few good pics on how i should connect the clutch to rear sprocket….I already bought a chain…and am pretty confident…just would like a little something to fall back on..thanks in advance
Mini-bike Nate (whose dad does all the work)....When I look at build vids, I look for 'minor' things.....basic manual dexterity with tools, basic 'building and assembling skills" (or lack thereof...like assembling a wheel/tire with both dry...or mounting the centrifugal clutch backwards.....or aligning the engine to the stock mount holes, [made before the custom, not-designed-for-this-frame, engine was purchased], instead of drilling new holes to make a perfectly straight power-line....resulting in an engine that sits too far to the right, giving the bike an off-balance natural stance, and protruding out to interfere with the rider's leg, .).. And then, once I understand the levels, I know what to expect... I started on minibikes and still love them, in the way that guys always like cool little versions of full-sized things (old Toyota pickups, for example...lol...) Good luck to you both!!

I have a vintage mini bike with a similar swing arm but it has 2 baring on either side instead of bolts how the hell do I take that apart?

I like that bike .. but ive got one question how are chain tensioners gonna work they look like they backwards
yes they are backwards. the chain will tend to pull the wheel forward. put nuts on both sides of the brackets and a little loctite too
I have the same frame and my motor fits but the gas tank is hitting the top how come ur isnt
You can get a smaller motor, or a smaller tank for your motor, or mount your tank above the frame with a fuel line running down.
