Zyko is one of the most creative dancers in the world for me but in freestyle kyoka got this battle for sure. Also i wouldnt questioning those legends of judges
It's a common thing for young dancers to do against judges of an event (assuming Zyko did it). It's mostly for the experience. In most cases it's not disrespectful to do so
I love Kyoka, but Zyko should have got this and it was not even that close. The way Zyko plays with the rhythm and the beat is unattainable by an old school approach to music.
Not sure if the second sentence is true but I definitely agree with your first sentence, Zyko is on a different planet from Kyoka but I wouldn't say he got the best songs for his style of dancing, I've seen him perform wayyyyy better many times plus there's also the question of if it was "hip hop enough". This isn't an all styles battle (I assume) and as far as I could tell Zyko did next to nothing that would make me classify his dancing as hip hop. It lacked the bounce, the groove. (In my opinion of course.)
He should have won? I saw some moves that at least for me i saw other people doing it and i dont mean that he is biting but some times i just remember other dancers wen he was on and that is not good. I guess now a days everyone looks like everyone at least kyoka for me looks like her self i look to zyko and see 202020 other´s like him. But good battle
a few things, 1) Zykos groove wasn't consistent, he went in and out so that he can do his blow ups. Kyoka was more consistent. 2)Zyko repeating the same formula to hit the beats two rounds in a row. Kyoka had more to give. 3) Old school approach ? Man u lack understanding of this dance. I do not agree or disagree with the call nor do i know what the judges think but that's what i see and can make out to him losing.

Zyko is ridiculously good but he looks stiff and his groove really looked off.
