Bless that cashier for showing love to that mom and son. When my son was little, he sometimes wanted things that were more expensive than I could have afforded. Fortunately it didn't happen very often, because a few times in his childhood , we had a week or so of Big Bird or some other well-known character laughing at us at the dinner table while we ate noodles. But that character knew I couldn't say no to those emploring eyes looking up to me from that sweet little face that I loved more than anything in the universe . Thank you to everyone I know and some I didn't who helped me keep my son satisfied in this world of temptations.

I've done it too. Once I was at Target (USA) and a girl wanted a barbie with a barbie car and horse. They were very humble and couldn't afford for it, instead her parents told her they'll buy more food. The girl was happy for the food, but her eyes were on the toys. Then I got all the three boxes she wanted and ran to checkout and paid for it. I waited till they paid their cart and I gave her those toys. Believe me there were no cameras, no witnesses, but I did it. They were so thankful, but I was infinitely happy, even more than them. I have many similar stories, and believe me those memories are only in my heart. By the way, I'm not a millionaire, not even rich, but I had a beautiful childhood filled with food and toys, and all children deserve to have good memories as well.
