Slight correction: MPFI 800 with the 5 speed 12 valve setup came in the year 2000. This was the year when BS2 norms were mandated countrywide, which meant all the manufacturers with Carb cars in their line-up had to update their models to MPFi. Then in the year 2003 the 2V per cylinder setup was made standard and the 4V engine was dropped as it was eating the Alto sales. Thanks for the upload 👍

I think they fabricated the outer components to a newer model. We had an 800 from the year 2003 and had FI system in it.
