I have just bought a red canary female and she is about 3 months old, how old does she have to be to breed? my male is over 1 year, he has already been used before but i rehomed the female, this red one is a keeper, she is beautiful. will she be old enough by spring to put with him? it is now the end of September.

Hello! I have a question, my yellow male canary usually sings and does this little dance to try impress the female brown canary I have, however everytime he sings and dances, she ignores him and chases him to bite him, I don't understand what going on. They're both around a year old. However he feeds her and she likes that but doesn't like the loud singing and dancing, they're together in a cage.

My female is in a nest, no male with her yet, and lays 4mm (3/16 inch) size diameter eggs. Is that normal for females before breeding. Puzzled. Does she need vitamins?

I’d be inclined to take it away and give her a fresh nest pan
