On "My Car Story" we're at Collectors’ Car Garage in Chicago IL at the Cars & Cops Car Show on 5-21-17.
We're looking at a 1967 Chevrolet Chevy Impala SS Super Sport in Elkhart Blue Paint with a factory 427 CI engine.
We’re talking with the Owner David Fritzsche. David’s had this car since 2007. David shares the wonderful details on his not often seen “427 Car” and the sound is AMAZING.
What an outstanding example of Chevrolet history this car is.

1967 Impala is one of the nicest cars. I like the color. It looks brand new. Thanks LOU for sharing this video. Have a great day. Appreciate it very much.

The engine bay was immaculate. I never knew that there was a bucket bench option on the SS. I always assumed all SS models were bucket seat console equipped. Lou thanks for asking about the seats.

You know Lou at one time I didn't appreciate the '67 Impala's until a few years back. Don't ask why but now I love them and here is another example of one that blows my socks off, WOW! And learning about the hood was cool. Thanks for finding this gem.

love it Lou, that was a factory speaker in back seat, remember as a kid in olde grandad's '63' couldn't reach the floor with my feet... when I did I felt I was ready to drive it!! nice car Lou keep the olde memories going for me!

Beautiful '67, and thanks to the owner for keeping the correct ride height on this one. I think it ruins the look of 60's cars when they're lowered to the ground.

Awesome ride. My first car was a 67 Caprice with a 396 / 325. Wasn't fortunate enough for a SS. Love it.

What a beautiful car, love the 427. We had one of those strato bench seats in our 69 coupe!
