Conscious effort to improve is the most important part. Anyone can just play Apex a lot, but only those who try to find their flaws and improve their skills will actually improve. For me, I got way better at my macro game sense when I forced myself to igl in my ranked games even to just randoms. It forced me to really think about the game in a bigger picture because I would lose my team's RP if I made the wrong decisions.
Its weird, ever since season 10 i've started to make an effort to further my understanding of the game, and therefore becoming better at the game. You are one of the ones to thank for that! You've helped me a lot in trusting my game sense, and becoming confident in my gameplay!
This season im really starting to understand and slow things down to actually think about things. I’ve definitely noticed climbing in ranked is a lot easier. Thanks scrappy
This is an incredible effort, best game sense commentary I have seen. For an MnK pub stomper like myself with a lot of lazy pub habits that never bothered with ranked past plat.
Scrappy has made learning apex tips in a different way i have never seen. And ever since i started watching ive become more aware if whats been going on in my surroundings in the game. Thank you
I usually find myself being too aggressive and getting stuck in the open, getting fried for it. Or being too passive after getting fried and giving the other team a chance to heal. Other than that, I suck at playing angles on occasion or over loot and take unnecessary storm damage or end up behind my team, and become a liability.
Try getting more reps in pub lobbies it will really help and serve as experience and the only way to do it is by playing the game and executing those techniques
I’m almost Diamond rank it’s just a matter of sometimes my rotations get me killed and sometimes my teammates rely on me to call directions and I don’t feel confident with it sometimes. Maybe just playing pubs tho is a good idea so I can trial and error with no risk of losing RP
@@ShinyySkyy just make sure u get more reps in rotations then even if your teammates aren’t following yes it’s a team game but what good is a team when they are dead follow your instincts so you can learn and improve from them
1:20 I would say movement is one of my bigger faults. I slide jump all the time, but somehow I still tend to be behind my ranked team like about half the time. Like yes, they play movement legends but I play loba so I should be able to keep up with them but their movement is so good. I already know that one thing I could improve on in that aspect is trying to stay even closer to my team than I already do. This definitely tends to affect me in ranked because yesterday we played and the one game that I stuck close to them (since they typically run into teams first), I got so much KP and we won the game (we win a bit, but I tend to lack on kp due to not getting to fights sooner). So, thank you for posting this video cause I know I have a lot to learn still and I've come really far already thanks to a lot of your tips
This is something I struggle with a lot as well especially when playing with my master lvl friends. What they told me was to loot faster and always be in the mindset of "being ready to move", just that alone has helped me a lot - also assuming a IGL or fake IGL role in my mind helps a lot, cause I'm just trying to be the first person to rotate and have the team follow instead of the reverse
I want to become better at being defensive, whether it be bubbles or just protecting teammates, aim, keeping track of teammates, keeping calm, and keeping myself from dying in dumb ways
not dying is huge. never take unnecessary damage, if you peek a corner and some guy starts mag dumping, go behind cover and you can easily catch him mid reload and you still have majority of your health. solo q is very difficult as a defensive legend. i’ve tried and just can’t support my team if they can’t get the damage done. ALWAYS PLAY WITH CONFIDENCE
I need to improve on my aim and game sense sometimes I hit all my shots sometimes I don’t and sometimes I’m aware and it wins me fights and sometimes I’m not aware
Things I struggle with is when I try to 3rd party and see knocks I push in with my team but it end up with us dieing in 10 seconds or less by the 2 teams shooting at us and focusing us and they get a full reset and res and leave.
Easy 3v2 in our favor against last squad in an open area at Storm Point and I almost threw it because I kept getting beamed while trying to ape one of them alone I just kept whiffing like I'm trying to miss my shots with the Hemlok, I really can't seem to get along with this weapon
Coach me I love the game with every ounce of my soul and just wanna improve as much as possible i feel like the only way I can do that at the point is maybe learning from the best like I have really good mechanics from what I’ve been told im able to kill masters preds with some difficulty all depends on the player tbh but all the preds and everything I was able to take down so I feel like with a little coaching I could do crazy things
Wait - ANYONE can improve MY game sense?! Wow ... That's pretty amazing ... Not sure why I should bother improving my own though, in that case ... 🤨😬 🙄🤦♂️
even though it feels like you're moving slower those heavy characters move the same speed as everyone else. the bigger hitbox is the problem, just try and prioritize cover and head glitches.
Honestly for me it’s my aim n the fact I can’t sometimes hear bc no audio people just walk up to me n destroy my ass 😭😭😭 but mainly my aim I can hit someone for a lot but I just can’t finish them off forgot to mention Also having Teammates not communicating with the Ping system or talking in the mic I’ve had a octane teammate earlier just run into a team without saying anything then got beamed n then had the nerve to call me ass
The first 3 minutes is exactly the biggest mistake I see when solo Qing. That mistake is flanking without communicating. It’s the number one reason I see myself dying or my teammates dying when solo Qing rank. Flanking is an awwsslme strategy when three stacking but it’s also extremely awful when solo Qing. When trying to flank 3 stacks; I immediately get swung on and killed immediately. Almost guaranteeing a loss of pts for our team.

Bro, Scrap this video needs to be studied, for real. This game was a masterclass on how to play high level Apex both individually and as a squadron.

Definitely a video I need to watch a few times to understand most of it
WATCH IT. LET IT DIGEST. COME BACK TO IT
Just the video i was looking for
This is the single most helpful video I’ve ever seen. Good job man.
THAT MEANS A LOT. THANK YOU
the things i want to improve on is mostly my positioning and to find away to work on my IGLing as well as not getting annoyed at stupid things XD
Great tips thanks!
My favorite part is always the intro and outtro lmao 🤣.
I could definitely improve on my instinct of what the enemy will do. If that makes sense haha
