2021 Chevrolet Trax evaporative emissions purge valve replacement 1.4 liter turbo

In this video we replace the faulty purge valve on a Chevy Trax. From what I've read, this is a common problem on any Chevy with this luj/luv 1.4 liter turbo engine.

Mine looks different; not the same set up.

At least not one that looks like the one on your car.

Hey I ended up snapping the green clip clean off when trying to undo it. Any idea how to proceed forward? not really sure what to do now.

I'm pretty sure you would have to replace that whole hose.

Figured I’d update this for anyone who fat-fingered it like I did. Took my car to the mechanic and they put a new clip on for $25, no need to replace the whole hose. Makes me wonder if I could have done it myself but for the price I’m not complaining
