This video made me realize the value of this thing - rather than keeping around tons of single use modules like a 2hp freez that I might not use that often, just have one of these and bring up whatever I might need when I need it. Might need to get me one of these.
Hi Neil, first af all thank you sooooo much for this series of videos you're the one. That said I've been trying to replicate this in 0.6 but it seems there is something on the chain behaviour that changed between this versions, the dub looper contained in the same chain of the osc unit catches the sound of the source, but once it is put in the container seems like the chain is broken and the buffer doesn't respond to anything, not sure if I'm doing something wrong, any idea?
hah! Well - the trick here is to hard set the multi to 4x your clock if it's a pulse per bar etc. and then the separate div control can sweep through the whole range. I think it would get messy having both! But, if you tweaked the gains you could essentially get the same result
I was thinking you could rectify the top half of the mod wheel signal with positive gain for divisions, and rectify bottom half with negative gain for divs. presuming bipolar mod input!
I'm pretty sure you made this video already but there's so much new stuff it can be hard to keep up. Have you dug into the quantizer at all? I'd like to see a tutorial on that one.
I did long ago. but it's now much simpler to deploy with expanded controls in the loopers for momentary punch control and CV controlled divisions in the Tap Tempo.

Good stuff as always, thanks Neil, learning a lot here :)
lol, did u just say "there we go really simple freezer"!? joking apart, its a wonderful video - I learnt so much, thanks man
Nice

pm me we a private link to a vid so I can see whats up?
damn number 37 now... sexy
plus... more neil is always better.
I upped my quality! th-cam.com/video/LznZMjeluMU/w-d-xo.html
More vids to come! :D Boredom compensation!
challenge mode: make mod wheel down do clock mults and mod wheel up do divisions :)

on the KB37, the mod wheel is unipolar... however, what you're asking is easily achievable using the pitch wheel!

yeah - re: a lot of the new units - hard to come up with something specific to JUST the new units. Hrmmm... still pondering :)
Neil Parfitt I look forward to all of the videos!
