      Great video. But are you sure they 'ship you a physical visa'? I thought they just emailed the visa to you and then you print it off?

      You are right, back when I made this they were saying they were going to ship cards, but that changed or didn't come to life. I'm working on an updated video. I just got approved and there's been a lot of new info coming out. It is a eVisa and you get a stamp in your passport when you enter the country after approval. Thanks for watching.

    I don't think that they will take a visa after it got paid & approval because someone didn't use it.... not seem reasonable...

    Just to confirm if you apply and it gets denied based on the soft power choice you make you can use re apply with a different soft power info .. and you dont have to pay again. Ive read a few forums etc but I just want to be sure. Thanks.

    I'm curious about medial / dental treatment. Does it have to be prepaid ? Usually there is an appointment for consultation. Is that enough for visa ? For example dentist won't know what work I need until they do an exam and x-rays. I can't schedule actual work until after initial exam visit. How does this work with visa. What if I make appointment and not end up doing that work done or getting something different ?

    First of all, great content and valuable information-much appreciated! Secondly, does anyone know how to meet the proof of funds requirement (500,000 THB) on a bank statement if I haven’t had this amount in my account for the past six months? If I transfer the funds a few weeks before applying, would that be acceptable? I realize it’s not ideal, but it’s the best I can manage for now. I have all the other required documents, and they meet the criteria. What would be your best advice on this? Thank you!

    • @ZachusTravel
      @ZachusTravel  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Some Embassy are not requiring more than 1 month and others are just validating that 500K baht is in there ($14K USD). Others like UK, USA are asking for more stuff. From what I've seen Jakarta, Vietnam, Hong Kong have all been pretty easy. Honestly I would say it needs to be in the account for at least 30 days otherwise your statement will not reflect it. If you have a tight timeline to go to Thailand, go on a Tourist Visa for 60 days (upon arrival), bring all your stuff with you and then jump down or over to another close by country and apply online or in person (all though most have gone to online only eVisa). I'm sorry I don't have better news but with the $400 application fee, I don't want you to lose that and waste your time. At minimum you need 1 month bank statement with that money and all the other stuff. I would join the DTV Facebook Group. A lot of great testimonies in there of where to go to get through fast and easy. Thanks for watching, hope this helps

      @@ZachusTravel Man! Thanks so much for your thoughtful, kind, and precise answer, sparing no time. It really helped a lot. In the meantime, I got in touch with the Thai embassy where I would submit my application online, and they also said something similar to what you mentioned-that it’s enough if the amount has been in the account for one month and that the final balance should be visible. But it's worth being certain about this, because, as you pointed out, I’ve heard from many places that each embassy has different rules. It would have been disappointing if my application failed because of this, as I have all the other documents ready. So thank you once again for your response, and I think you made one of the best videos on the DTV topic! Thanks for your hard work, and wishing you continued success with your channel! :)

      Sorry but most likely will get rejected and you'll lose your application fee. The statement has to be in your name. She would need to transfer it to you for 30 days till you get your statement showing it. In the USA they want tax records and 3-6 months of statements. If you come over here and go to Indonesia or Viet you can usually get by with just a bank shot showing you have the money in your bank. DTV doesn't allow sponsors at least not right now.
