I spent four days in a tiny cabin snowed in by myself with no way out. It was adequately stocked rescue build for mountain skiers when trapped by sudden weather changes. I went stir crazy. The only light I had was from the fire place where I had to sit close by to keep warm and eat. My only activity was to get wood and gather snow for water. I was hearing voices before I was rescued. It is a psychological torture . I don't ski anymore. I'm not afraid, it's just I don't like it anymore. I am doubting the two of you make this your home in the deep snow and freezing cold. Even together you must feel the aloneness the solemn forboding isolation brings. The need to leave making even four days seem endless.
