Your tutorials are always so great. I prefer the ones where you speak as opposed to onscreen notes. It would have been especially fun for this one to hear yours and Donovan's conversation on technique. I find it lends a more personal touch.
Jennifer C ? What? Wash. Untangle. Dry. Curl. Apply products. Of course the drying was quite precise and the curling had the best technique ever! But the steps you can count with the fingers of one hand.
@@yoylos3p My hair is almost impossible to untangle. Not very long, in any case; not more than one minute, even after having washed it. "Divide your hair". Tie one section.... That's already complicated for me. You are supposed to know it (by some innate knowledge). And good for you if you can manipulate an iron behind your head without burning yourself: I'll do it someday with the iron "on" if I can use it safely when it is "off". So far, every time I would have burnt myself if it had been "on". And you have to use the left hand for the right side... Nice result, but certainly not for beginners.
pretty! in the future, could you make the on-screen text both bigger and not white on a white background? i had to pause to squint and read some of it properly.
Emily can you explain how your hair is cut? Is it all one length in the back or is it slightly layered? I have very thick weighty hair and struggle with wanting no layers in the back but sometimes it gets too heavy like that! Thanks
That is beautiful and fun to watch but definitely a technique meant for a professional. I wouldn't have a prayer of replicating that at home.
Beautiful, now donovan just has to come to my house every morning to help me get ready lol
Beautiful!!
He did an amazing job! 👍
It was really beautiful at every stage! I want a man like this in my life lol
These are the perfect waves!!!!
Gorgeous!! I have thick hair and found the sectioning tips really helpful. Can’t wait to try this later this week 😊
Best curls ever! 😍
Love this

how long does it last?!
Came to learn the "simple" wave and realized I won't be able to make it. I had no idea I need to learn how to properly blow dry my hair first.
I need a good blow out brush mine are too big . Any suggestions? Thanks I have fine hair but lots of it
can I borrow him?

Marcy AntiqueChase Ask your hairstylist to thin your hair out, they can do that without layering, and will take the weight off of the hair.
If I learned anything, it's that I need a new curling iron. Mine definitely doesn't curl my hair that fast. Thanks for sharing!
Your hairstylist is pretty handsome
I got told to never brush wet hair or is that a wet brush ?
I love it but if I curl my hair with a big curling iron line that, it’s completely straight in about 3 hours... with humidity - 2 minutes
What size curling iron did he use?
Sara Tobi its a one and a half inch from hot tools
What is your natural hair lile
Greatvvideo
Whenever I run my hands through the curls, they turn REALLY frizzy 😭
