I've been through this a couple of times, and when I 'scan' to show the files within WHDload/ nothing comes up in the main list. Any ideas? Also... When I add adfs to my floppy drive slots and 'start' nothing happens from the boot screen. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm on an M1 mac. I tried the previous Intel version to no avail. Help! I must play Shadow of the Beast II one more time!
No idea why M1 has issues with import dialog, but i couldn't get it to auto import,. I noticed you did the same copy manually. i can't believe its also x86 build of FS-uae, so it has to be MacOS. Last time it auto imported was on MacOS Catalina, but of course, i was also on Intel Mac, Something got changed.
You should do a video on classic Mac emulation on the Amiga - it is really quite fascinating as the Amiga can actually emulate a classic Mac FASTER than the Mac it is emulating! This is pretty much the ONLY time in emulation history this has happened - due to the 68k Mac and Amiga using the same CPU architecture and the Amiga then using all the extra custom chip horse power to accelerate other functions that the Mac usually has to do all in software. Its pretty amazing stuff.
If you really want a mind f... then play Simcity 2000 on the Amiga (take note of how slow it plays) then emulate a Mac on the Amiga and play SC2K on the emulated Mac, it actually runs better than the (poorly ported) Amiga version SMH. I remember the first time I did this on my A1200 68030 @50MHz I was just messing around testing various programs when I came across this. It just blew me away! even with the added overheads of emulating another system SC2K that it ran better.
@@daishi5571 :) There's actually a few games like that - the Amiga ports were so badly optimised that the Mac version runs better through emulation on the Amiga then the native Amiga version. ;)
@@jamesthompson6557 I read that the guy who did the Amiga port of SC2K only worked on it when he was jetting around. I think he needed to get a few thousand more air miles 🙂
Hi Mikey. Please could you help me find kickstart files to upload. Also, are you able to save games you're playing once it's all up and working? Cheers, Lance.
Struggling to exit the emulator to use the mac, fn +f12 takes me to a workspace with calendar and clock as how it would just normally function without any app running. Have to keep restarting the machine.
you know you can just use unarchiver on the windows iso right? and it will extract the entire iso file to your mac. So much easier lol. No windows needed. All the workbenches etc.
Hi Mikey! Thanks for this very comprehensive clip. It helped me a lot. Thank you and keep on doing your wonderful work❤❤
Pet Detective and Edge ... not a fan of Mac's then LOL Excellent work, made my lunchtime.
I have problems with my Macbook Touchpad. Tap to click not really working in Amiga games or even the workbench.
Thanks mate, helped a lot, appreciated :)

@@daishi5571 Would not surprise me. :)
That definitely is interesting. I remember seeing RMC video on the subject.
At last the Mac gets some good games. ;-)
Dear Mikey, could you do a video for running WinUAE on official Windows 11 on Macbook? Thanks!

Using edge on Mac OS made me laugh so hard. 😂
Thats MS getting back at Apple for Safari.

Something to do with the way you've setup your OSX then as F12 is the key for FS-UAE, something else must be overriding it.
brilliant! Thx!

10 seconds in and I'm like wtf? You've got mac and you're using the worst windows browser? wtaf dude...
