Nice transfer from vinyl! Getting ready to go back in the studio and finish a bunch of unfinished material....we Just need a good kick in the arse to get the wheels turning!
You're welcome. I'm looking forward to your upcoming work. Let's keep in touch by email and I have few questions if you don't mind. Email: indepthmusic.info@gmail.com
One of the better but mostly forgotten local Los Angeles bands at the time, although they did find an audience with local radio & as a key opening act , so they did better than most. There were dozens of hot groups in l.a. scene at any given time, but not many as musically solid as these guys. Their atmospheric, post-goth, alternative-rock music has stood the test of time 👍👍 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Yet another band that displayed so much talent and potential but never made more then one EP. It's a story shared by many very talented musicians through the years who for what ever the reason, never got the chance to develop. Link to their Discogs page also has a link to a piece that was written up on them in the L.A.Times in 1989. www.discogs.com/artist/2320535-Sixtieth-Parallel
@@in-depth-music I actually dig Sixtieth Parallel's version better, love this band! Thanks for posting this album, would have never heard of them. One of my favorite Post Punk bands!
Yes, Up the Down Escalator and Swamp Thing were great songs and influenced us as well as The Bunnymen, Icicle Works, early U2, Killing Joke from that late 70’s early 80’s time frame.
probably just a usb vinyl player. they've been around for a while. plus all these albums are available for cheap online in vinyl format. I got a few myself.
no fucking way. dude! haha shit.. geeking as fuck here. yo!!! haha im sorry im just laughing at the fact how ive seen this happened on this guys (in depth music) youtube page. and look at me now. Honestly, wish i could have been around in that time to experience this. this will have to suffice though! another fan! good shit man!
Marco....Thanks and no worries!!! Every so often we get together and play a few songs in Long Beach CA our home town, we all have had day jobs for many years and family with 7 kids between us all. Kevin the singer (middle in cover) has worked for Capitol Records for 25+ years and I always had metal fabrication as my job to fall back on...31 years in that trade! Dave on the left lives in Denmark but he visits ocassionally....glad you like the music! If you make to LA hit me up for a beer! Damien

Reminds me so much of pre-Joshua Tree U2
Early u2 really has this post punk aura... have a listen at their "Treasure" track! It's on War's b-side

Club Post Nuclear in Laguna Beach....1989
Yes! We played a few shows there, great venue.
In depth music thank you very much
i was 1 years old when this album came out. coincidence? i think not.
Bellissimo, passionately deep.
First song and immediately thought of the Sound then old U2 half way through. I guess this will do.
Awesome...Many thanks.
the dude dressed in black in the back looks like Mr Mordin from Babylon 5
Man these dudes had some great hair..
Album god, se nota la inspiración en The chameleons
super like
TOP !
Good one!

They made good music even if only one album the problen is the rigged media refusing to play anything other than the primitive junk both then and now
This is really good." Like dust" sounds familiar
