I remember that later( in about 2010 or so) they did the Friends For Change Games for a couple of years which was pretty much this but all the games had an environmental theme to them and each team played for a charity
Dudeeeee the 2007 and 2008 games were amazing 😭 They were actually held at Disney World at the Wide World of Sports complex and fans were allowed in both years. I was super lucky to go after school for a few days when they were filming (I believe they let anyone in for free but you had to leave school early for it). I ended up finding a great corner spot in the stands near the field so I still have vivid memories of the Jonas Brothers, Jason Earles, and Mitchel Musso walking up to me to sign my sign. I still have a DCG poster and cup they were selling! The funniest/most embarrassing thing that happened to me was in 2007. Brian Stepanek (Arwin from Suite Life) walked up to me when I was at a empty area in the stands and asked if I wanted his autograph. I didn't recognize him without the glasses and I told him no....and then I recognized him when I walked away and people started crowding around him 😬 (Ended up meeting him again at the 08 games and we laughed it off haha). They did a concert the first year with Corbin Bleu, Hannah Montana, and the Cheetah Girls. I believe that was a ticketed event and I mainly remember meeting Kyle Massey since he was roaming around the stands meeting everyone which was awesome. They did a DCG spinoff that was environment/green-themed years later but it was in a closed soundstage and not with fans anymore. Super grateful I was able to attend so long ago!
Ah yes. Its the early 2000's. I'm at my Grandma's house visiting my family in SC. Disney Channel Games are on the TV in the living room, and my older stepbrother is playing flash games on the Disney Channel website. I could hear my uncles playing Mortal Kombat Trilogy in the backroom and exclaiming with simultaneous emotions of joy and frustration. The living room/kitchen smells like fried chicken. My family members were having conversations at the dinner table. I'm glad I still have that memory. Seemed so bright.

When I was in elementary school they would always play Disney channel in the classrooms while we waited for the bus.( along with other childhood classics like the direct to video scooby doo movies)!Disney channel honestly was the main reason I made it through middle school, every day I would get home and watch Sunny With a Chance, which would basically be my wind down for the day. I loved Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network as a kid but Disney is what I grew up on.

For me in 2008, nothing was more exciting than seeing the "And you are watching Disney Channel" ident come on because that's when you knew it the show after it was gonna be a banger. It was every 2000s kid dream to go on Disney Channel just to hold the wand and do the ears. Yes Nick shows are great, but they just don't have that Disney charm.
Originally I thought this topic would be underwhelming for me since I grew out of Disney before this was a thing,

I remember that later( in about 2010 or so) they did the Friends For Change Games for a couple of years which was pretty much this but all the games had an environmental theme to them and each team played for a charity

Dudeeeee the 2007 and 2008 games were amazing 😭 They were actually held at Disney World at the Wide World of Sports complex and fans were allowed in both years. I was super lucky to go after school for a few days when they were filming (I believe they let anyone in for free but you had to leave school early for it). I ended up finding a great corner spot in the stands near the field so I still have vivid memories of the Jonas Brothers, Jason Earles, and Mitchel Musso walking up to me to sign my sign. I still have a DCG poster and cup they were selling!
The funniest/most embarrassing thing that happened to me was in 2007. Brian Stepanek (Arwin from Suite Life) walked up to me when I was at a empty area in the stands and asked if I wanted his autograph. I didn't recognize him without the glasses and I told him no....and then I recognized him when I walked away and people started crowding around him 😬 (Ended up meeting him again at the 08 games and we laughed it off haha).
They did a concert the first year with Corbin Bleu, Hannah Montana, and the Cheetah Girls. I believe that was a ticketed event and I mainly remember meeting Kyle Massey since he was roaming around the stands meeting everyone which was awesome. They did a DCG spinoff that was environment/green-themed years later but it was in a closed soundstage and not with fans anymore. Super grateful I was able to attend so long ago!

Ah yes. Its the early 2000's. I'm at my Grandma's house visiting my family in SC. Disney Channel Games are on the TV in the living room, and my older stepbrother is playing flash games on the Disney Channel website. I could hear my uncles playing Mortal Kombat Trilogy in the backroom and exclaiming with simultaneous emotions of joy and frustration. The living room/kitchen smells like fried chicken. My family members were having conversations at the dinner table.
I'm glad I still have that memory. Seemed so bright.

When I was in elementary school they would always play Disney channel in the classrooms while we waited for the bus.( along with other childhood classics like the direct to video scooby doo movies)!Disney channel honestly was the main reason I made it through middle school, every day I would get home and watch Sunny With a Chance, which would basically be my wind down for the day. I loved Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network as a kid but Disney is what I grew up on.
Changing your team every 5 seconds is the most relatable thing, but in my heart I was always #TeamBlue because of Demi 😌 ...whom by the way, *was* doing drugs back then, so you got that right 😂
