Please talk about Chamber! He's one of my favorite mutants and he's so underrated. He's been a leader in the new mutants for a while and even though he didn't have a strong role in the current New Mutants I was still happy to see him in it. Also he's a pretty powerful mutant.
I love Gentle especially during that return to Limbo arch that Skottie Young drew. All those next generation new mutants like Rockslide, Anole, Hellion and Surge are some of my favorites when Skottie is drawing them.
Sage from Extreme X-Men is another mutant that has the ability to hack into things with her mind. They could make so many more teams of forgotten X-Men characters that sometimes I do wonder who they might bring back in any X-book.
Mad Love for the Gentle and Prodigy mentions.... I had been wondering where he was since Dawn of X. Not exactly happy about his new portrayal in X-Factor. He seems very meek if not depowered since earlier appearances.

I remember thinking that Gold Balls ability would be a lot more useful if his Gold Balls could explode. But the way it's depicted in the Dawn of X series makes it seem pretty useful too.

He could be a Wakandian Hero, be on a Xmen team or even a Avenger level Hero. Remember Black Panther had Space adventures a while ago he could be Cosmic. His powers are mad growing right now, Geokinesis/Chlorokinesis/Seismic Energy Manipulation/Seismic Energy Immunity/Geo Connectivity/Power and Telepathic Immunity/Clairvoyance...add on top of that that Apocalypse is teaching him magic and he is one of the few anchors for Shatterstars teleportations (that can be inter-dimensional and time travel). A lot of these abilities he's gains since Krakoa. You could do a top 10 mutants that have expanded their power set since Krakoa? Just a thought, because he's rad and you never talk about him.
Prodigy's precognition fighting ability reminds me of the Christian Bale film Equilibrium. The Gun Kata stuff allowed him to predict and circumvent any opponent's moves.

Piloting any one of Stark's Iron Man armors? Or hollowing out an old Sentinel and piloting it like a mech? He'd be a pretty cool mutant.
I feel like Bailey would have been a good candidate for the Weapons X program. Give him Wolverine's healing factor so he can use his power. Hell, he could havw even used some training to detonate a single limb, or just a thin layer of skin for disorienting flashes.

This list really should have had Matthew Malloy in it. One story, the most powerful mutant ever. Reality manipulator on a level few could imagine. He can literally do anything or make the universe be anything he wants.
Prodigy doesn't share knowledge of anyone near by he permanently absorbs their knowledge and attains their skills, plus there's no record of any limit to how much he can absorb.
