how to become a cosmetologist cosmotology waxing salon skincare professional
I've been in the industry for 15 years. I started out as a licensed nail tech and looked in the city news paper and just so happened to see a position at a brand new day spa. That was a blessing. Once I moved out of the area, I went back to school for cosmetology and one of my classmates had a friend that was a manager at a Regis salon and that is how i started working in a salon environment because that person gave me a job. We are still friends to this day. LOL I currently work part-time in a chain salon now and I just happened to put in an application and they called me in for an interview and I did a technical model and was hired from there. I've been with them for four years now and I like it.

Finally have found a vlogger in a similar situation to mines.....Im just really mad that I allowed the school to talk me into going for Cosmetology (Im naturally good at doing hair but I dont want to do that as a career) because I went in intitally to sign up for Esthetician classes which I love all things skin related....so gonna tough it out & prosper with my license
Tanisha Seer I think having the cosmetology license over any other beauty license is an advantage for you. Cosmetology is broad and you can just focus on skincare if you choose or you can do hair, or both.
I agree you can do so much with a cosmetology license.
I have a second interview at European tomorrow, im extremely nervous I just got my cos license in may. I hope I do well in training looking forward to making that shmoney

@@aishasaleh3836 if you want to be a waxer and not do hair get an esthetics license . Look for an esthetician school near you . It takes about 4-6 months maybe a little bit longer depending on the hours you need to get ur license in the state you’re in. Pass state boards and then yea
I got hired last week. I start February 8th. I am nervous as hell. More about getting the models. They haven't given me a lot of info on that yet, so I don't know how that works.
I did 3 interviews. One phone. One with the manager. We talked for 1.5 hours. Then the 3rd was with the Franchise owners. I was with them for 2.5 hours. I have never had long interviews like that. But we all seemed to just click with one another.
Ive been wanting to get back into the beauty industry but doing waxing instead of makeup artistry this time. Ive been on countless of beauty industry job interview but don't seem to get one. I have my license still active and the waxing skills. I know how to use soft and hard wax. I just don't know how to do Brazilians. I applied to a few opening positions in my area so I hope I get a call back soon Lol 🤞. I'm not giving up yet

How I got my salon job , the owner picked me , we went to beauty school together and she believed in me and I had a good attitude so she hired me
I had a phone interview last Friday and an in person interview Monday. When should you call back because I’m so nervous that they didn’t like me😭

It's 14.25 (Los Angeles minimum wage )plus bonus and tips
In Los Angeles it’s $22 at European wax center ... not minimum wage
