The more I watch these videos the more excited I get lol I got the permit to run my business in my home, in maine it is also 300$ to get the llc and we also have to get the sale cert.

Purrr I'm an esthetician student in NYC too I just started school last week
so happy I found your channel!! I’m a new esthetician in Pennsylvania (graduated in September). I worked at a small salon for a few months but literally only had 3 clients (most likely due to the pandemic).
My ultimate goal is to open my own business or maybe even work out of my house one day. I know nothing about starting my own business so I’m looking forward to learning everything you know!!
My question is: do you think it’s best to start your own business right away, or to gain experience working at a spa or something first? (sorry if you answered that in the video, I had to pause halfway through and comment!)
I actually went solo straight out of esthetics school! However, I know it’s not advised, I did do a ton of research and practice before hand with seminars and trainings to gain more information!

Hey Gabriel, I am looking into school in California- I’m from the OC area, what school have you come across that is good if u don’t mind me asking!
@@LAREALNAE I went to one in my local area. It was called California Cosmology Academy but I looked up esthetician schools near me and there was a few. I went to go see 2/3 that I picked. I definitely did some research before getting into one but I picked based of classroom environment, classroom theory. I hoped this helped and good luck ✨💕

I’m a licensed esthetician and want to do a business from home. I can’t decide if I should do corporate or sole proprietor it’s an option I have to decide before completing a salon license. I won’t be able to advertise””

Hey . Thanks for the deets ! I just graduated in feb and just now getting my license after 2 months . I want to start my own by using a suite for now until I can own my own spa . What funding do you recommend to start up a business at least for a suite . Thanks in advance
What Esthetician School did you go to in Dallas,TX?
Iv been looking at getting a space and I see that alot of people operate out of an office rental, I'm a bit confused as I don't know if a sink w hot and cold water is required in texas, also a mini salon license is when you operate out of a salon gallery, or is this not the case?
I would like to start off in a small office space but not sure if that is acceptable.
I think starting in an office space is fine, however you will have to pay for laundry, wifi possibly, you'll have to find your own water source etc. It's much easier for people to find you when you work in a salon suite with other hairstylists, lash artists, nail techs, massage therapists, estheticians, etc.

how can I find the best school for me while working . Most schools in the bay area require class mon-friday and im at wrk monday thru friday 24hr shifts ?
You may have to consider a school that offers a part time schedule or you may have to look at schools outside the Bay Area!

Hi hun I would really like to know where you got your LLC because I signed up for one and it was $300 like you said, I live here in Texas. But then they want to charge me for legal separation documents which is another $300 did you have to do that?
Hmm that’s very strange...I did not have to do that. I had a company handle it all for me on my behalf
but do i still need a business license? or just a mini salon license?
If you’ll be booth renting or suite leasing in Texas, you only need the mini salon license
