This is the best guided lap I've ever seen. Mischa/Boris' knowledge of the track is encyclopedic, , his assessment of the car's performance is brilliant, and MOST IMPORTANTLY he explains WHY he is giving directions ("Don't lift at the bottom or yo'll have a bad time"). He makes his wording simple and concise to ensure you can pay attention and respond quickly.
Credit to this youtuber, instead of driving around London at 20mph and revving the shit out of various vinyl wrapped exotica and never testing their driving abilities, he's actually pushing himself
Anyone driving a stupidly wrapped/bodykitted supercar in London is in 99% of cases is a show off idiot sponsored by his parents Tim is not one of them, he buys supercars to enjoy driving them how they are supposed to be driven
Must agree funny as fuck, and highly intelligent they both should do top gear together specially after the big few left/got sacked be better than they planned 😝😏
Regarding the insurance, Most companys wont pay, but some do pay if you crash there =) not meaning that you have to go in the mclaren, but just saying that some companys will pay but probably hate you afterwards lmao
some people just don't realize that driving around nordschleife is very dangerous. it's a circuit with a lot of turns and it's not like to drive in a silverstone, interlagos, or monza. even in the videogames i crash all the time. i lose the control of the car and it crashes...
+Yuri Mulero totally agree with you! I drive on the Nurburgring all the time in gran turismo 5 and when I'm really on it I usually lose control once or twice so I can't imagine what it's like driving in reality!
this was the best car driving enthusit video i have ever seen produced or shown on youtube. great job tim taking ego out of driving fast and Boris was fantastic as a driving coach...... hard to believe that with as crazy as boris seams most of the time........ stellar.........
Very very nice video ! You perfectly explained what the Nordschleife means to people who love cars. I did a roadtrip with my old Alfa 33, 2 years ago, because it is the Nordschleife... I still feel the emotion when I entered on the track and when I finished it. The dream came true even in my little 1.3L 90hp ;) Keep going with your vids !
Tim this is one of the best videos every, to see the natural side of your self and mischa just talking about the track and surrounding areas. Also great to see boris teaching you the track was fantastic he is so knowledgeable. Great work lads loved it 👍🏽
10:10 "Oh My God, look at your review mirror, It's salomondrin!" Hahaha Boris is great! And this was a very nice video, a good point of view of the nurburgring, different from "simple" lap videos! :D
Man, "Boris" is hysterical! Seems like a great guy and he really knows his stuff. Just sounds like a genuinely cool guy. One of my dream vacations would be to visit the Nurburgring. The history, the ambience, everything; it's just a car lovers paradise. Now that I've started driving myself, it's one of the places I'll have to visit in my lifetime!
This has to be one of your better videos in a long time. Boris acting normal actually talking a lot of sense. This type of content suits the 16+ viewers a lot more.
I like how Misha seems like such a kind, considerate and humble guy. And then when he turns into Boris he's loud and obnoxious and inappropriate as anything xD
He's like the Russians I know; they all seem to have the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde thing going on. I like them, too, but people not ready for it can find it jarring (especially the English).
It’s so cool to watch this video and compare it with your recent Senna video. You’ve come a long way and it’s been fun watching and dreaming of doing the same thing. Thanks for sharing with us.
This is one of the most interesting and informative videos of yours that I have seen. "Boris" is a different person when he is in the role of Ring instructor, and your conversation on the way back to the Ring Garage was fascinating. It is also really cool to see someone getting that much fun out of the little Focus RS!
Shmee, You and Misha work very well together. You compliment each other. This segment doesn't feel like a blog, but rather an episode of a proper TV car show.
WOW! That was an incredible experience! You must have been truly (I don't have the words to describe) overjoyed to have had that experience. I truly envy you.
Just lapped the Nurburgring this past month in my dads GT4 he just picked up through European delivery. I managed a 9:21. Such a blast. Cant wait til that beast arrives home in L.A.
THAT WAS AWESOME! I could feel the adrenaline pumping through me veins even while I was sitting and watching that video!! awesome job shmee and boris! I honestly was getting a bit tired of him, but now mann, hes the dude
Very interesting comments regarding Nurburgring between you guys (at the end). So many facts around that legendary place ! And Shmee, well said at the very end of your video concerning the insurances on race tracks... Thanks ! If I ever go there, I will ask an instructor to show me the way...
Keep up the good work Tim! I've been checking your videos for years now and learn something new every time, thank you! It's nice to see you improving your driver skills... P.S.: Boosted Boris IS AWESOME! (and yes, the LT color is absolutely gorgeous!) Cumps from Portugal.
what a great piece of video!!! misha is such a cool knowledgeable dude. I've never watched a 30 min you tube video but this one is over the top excellent i will have to watch this video again and again.
Really *great* and informative Video about the famous and so difficult and demanding Nordschleife. And its absolutely true what Misha / Boris said about the amount of Laps you have to do to really get to know it. Just an Example : Sabine Schmitz ( Ringtaxi Driver and a proper Racedriver ) has done more than 30.000 laps there. She is one of not many People who really can say that they *know* the Track.
Is shmee payed to drive this focus? He seems mostly into super cars yet gives this ford so much credit. Would be cool to see him buy and bash a super car around the 'ring..
Shmee transparency keeps fans maybe no ford sponsor yet but youtube plus all your social media platforms = Payday for driving your ford and posting it.
I've driven the Focus RS already 3,500km - I could happily have done that in another car but it's genuinely great to be behind the wheel of it. Of course I enjoy mixing up the content with different types of cars, but nobody makes me do anything specifically like this.
Perfect proof that Boris can be serious in the right times! Not a bad lap time as well! Much respect for not taking the LT, if something wrong were to happen, you'd probably be kicking yourself for not taking a different car.
Misha mentioned that track has changed a lot over the years. Do you think that has a lot to do with the lap times being slower? 6:11 is insanely fast, but if the track has changed in a way to make it slower than back in the 80's is it possible to even hit that number now? 20-30 seconds is a MASSIVE amount of time to make up. Thoughts?
No, track has been made more safe (wider, less bumps), therefore theoretically you should be able to run faster. The cars and drivers were just crazy back in the days.
to beat that laptime you would need a reborn stefan bellof, so sad he died in that accident at spa. he couldve been the greatest racer of all time, rest in peace
+Boosted Boris Crazy cars and drivers indeed. Here's a quote from Bellof. "That lap wasn't my best lap. I had already used my qualifying tires before when I was held up in traffic. Derek Bell did a run on his set, while I pooled together a set from the best used tires of Ickx's and my set. The brake pedal was falling to the floor twice and I had to pump. But I had a clear lap" GT3 cars of today are still slower despite 30 years of tire and suspension development. But then GT3 is relatively controled with no special tires allowed and based on road cars. Group C was full ground effects - just without the F1 skirts. Horsepower approx 650 in race trim. Here's some more laptimes from qualifying 1. Bell/Bellof: 6:11.13 (by Bellof) 2. Mass/Ickx: 6:16.85 (by Mass) 3. Wollek/Johansson: 6:31.59 - that's already slower than Bellof's fastest lap of the race with 6:25 And a few quotes by drivers Keke Rosberg: "I feel like a passenger, I don't have the car under control 100%" Bob Wollek: "It's no fun with these cars around the Ring. It's jumping like a deer, I lift before every brow"
Tim, you're awesome ! Keep up this awesome work your youtube channel and yourself are just one of a kind I Hope to See you at the Sport1-Event, i understand about the 675lt spyder i still appreciate you for showing us the laps in the FORD RS
Tim this was awesome Boris teaches you the Nurburgring in the Focus RS, and what i thought on a circuit you are not insured, driving was good fast time, some drivers chrassing thanks for sharing Shmee 👌 😊
Really cool to see one individuals knowledge of a single race track but in so many ways didn't think I was going to make it through initially but that was pretty cool
boris, you are the man! i've always enjoyed the 'drunk russian' side of you and i couldn't imagine you any differently, but you really surprised me. hats off, you seem extremely passionate and knowledgeable about cars, the car scene, motorsport and especially the nordschleife. very cool to see you being normal. also, those were some nice laps, shmee! :D
Shmee that was great driving and it was amazing to see you drive on the Nurburgring and it was amazing that it was your own RS! You should take your GT3 or your LT on it!!!
I managed to squeeze in just under 10 minutes on my 3rd ever lap BtG in the Ring Garage GT86. The conditions were, lets just say, damp and cold. All I would like to say is that games (simulators) are a good way to learn the track's general layout, so that you are able to predict the next corner. Other than that, take it easy on your first laps around the 'Ring. :)
I think I can speak for a lot here, what we would like to see is Mischa driving whatever the fastest Ring Garage car is around the track as full whack, a lot don't seem to 'get' Boris so maybe this would shut them up, how fast can Mischa really go?
Awesome video. Really good to see you guys give an explanation on how things really are at the ring and prove that it's not all about laptimes! Great to see Boosted Borris without the hat and vodka and showing the world that he knows his shit! Thanks for an awesome video, hoping to see you and Mischa again. 👍🏻👍🏻
Spotted you this week at ringgarage! was driving a red mx-5 passing you when you entered the garage :) 3:15 we are the guys standing on the right lol !
This video was great especially that last bit at the end of this video, I don't think I ever seen you shmee on video so long talking about cars. Really thorough. Good stuff keep it up. I would like to see a video with alejandro, or some other enthusiasts for such long thoughts.
I totally agree with you...I wouldn't take the LT out on the Ring even if full insurance was available...it's not always how well you drive, but the others out there at the same time sharing the track. I've seen too many Ring vids with horrific crashes and terrible driving etiquette to not understand what you mean... Personally though, i'd like to take and Ariel Atom, KTM, Radical or something similar around the ring some day...that place looks like a ton of fun. Thanks for the video...
Hey Tim, i watch your videos since a good half year i think. It got better and better ;) especially those NoS Videos are real great! I also just have driven 10 laps there and i totaly fell in love with the track at the moment, so your videos are coming just in the right time ;) Without such a funny and well coach its a little bit harder to reach that laptimes you did, congratulations :) You said uninsured, you mean while trackdays? While Touristenfahrten the track is an official "Countryroad" the german Road Laws were active and you have full insurance meanwhile driving there. Maybe some insurers have some extra clauses or sth..
Really fun video! Also did a lap on the nordschleife with friends in a mates Audi RS5 back on carfriday! I just love this place! So many cars there...just the right place to be for car guys, car enthusiasts, spotters etc :)
Thank you carmrade!
One of the most fun laps I've had this year! I kid you not, for second time driving on track ever, that was VERY good! GT4 next time!
Why do you always get to do the fun part, while I have to be serious?
+Misha Charoudin ...ok fine Misha I'll sub to u too :)
+Misha Charoudin savage lad
whats the avg cost to rent a car for the ring?..
If Boris not driving, i'm not watching!
Credit to this youtuber, instead of driving around London at 20mph and revving the shit out of various vinyl wrapped exotica and never testing their driving abilities, he's actually pushing himself
preach brother, preach
Anyone driving a stupidly wrapped/bodykitted supercar in London is in 99% of cases is a show off idiot sponsored by his parents
Tim is not one of them, he buys supercars to enjoy driving them how they are supposed to be driven
+Dmitry L Yeah, but Tim is sponsored by his parents too ...
so what?
Really mate, he has gone over this numerous times. His parents had no financial in his adult life.
This is one of the best video of Shmee. Just love listening to TIm & Misha talk about cars, racing and Nordschleife.
Boris is the fucking man! I can't believe he doesn't have more subs.
One day
Must agree funny as fuck, and highly intelligent they both should do top gear together specially after the big few left/got sacked be better than they planned 😝😏
+Boosted Boris i will help you i am subscibing you right now
I just subbed, keep it up! #BoostedNation
@@BoostedborisWtf just watched your 500k video on the "serious" channel. You made it ❤ Although as yourself
I love how hard Boris was pushing you on the track. I could feel the excitement/tension... hear the tires squealing... Very cool.
Did my best :)
Tim, you're awesome ! Keep up this awesome work :)
I Hope to See you at the Sport1-Event, greetings from GE
We'll be there and as will my line-up of cars at the Ring Garage display!
+Shmee150 Cool, really looking forward to this :)

Never enough
Boosted Boris Haha, true story. Saw you driving through Adenau today

"Aim for the graffiti" - only at Nurburgring :D
Probably true
Fully appreciate why you're not taking the 675LT round. Really good video Tim. Loved the fact it was half an hour. Great content as always.
And Misha seems like a really cool guy. Loved his knowledge, understanding and respect of the track 😊
Man, "Boris" is hysterical! Seems like a great guy and he really knows his stuff. Just sounds like a genuinely cool guy.

Is Boris and Mischa the same person?
They're triplets. They keep Igor in the basement.
+Jack1138 hahaha
How can it be the same person if they have different names?
+Jack1138 oh my god haha
Yes they are. Misha is the man and Boris is the character

This series of videos has been amazing thus far. Keep it up. Your interaction with Boosted Norris is great. 👍
Norris :D
Did you know that Chuck Norris caught all the Pokémons by using landline?
+Boosted Boris haha
what a great piece of video!!! misha is such a cool knowledgeable dude. I've never watched a 30 min you tube video but this one is over the top excellent i will have to watch this video again and again.
On behalf of my other me: thank you!
10:10 "oh my god, look in the rear view mirror, it's salomandrin he wants to hotbox us" 😂
Boris rocks! That's got to be the calmest instructions I have ever seen.
That lap joke from Boris and then transitioning to a perfect view of what his sunglasses say was perfect
loving all these videos with Boris. This was an awesome and informative video. Cant wait for more to come in the next few weeks.
Brilliantly good instructional driving, exactly how i want to be taught
Come over! :)
thanks TIM and crew

No I am not paid, but keep watching to the end and I explain the exact answer to your comment
Simple: in the unlikely case of a crash it is "just" the Focus RS.
Shmee transparency keeps fans maybe no ford sponsor yet but youtube plus all your social media platforms = Payday for driving your ford and posting it.
Is there no All-risk insurance with track included?
I've driven the Focus RS already 3,500km - I could happily have done that in another car but it's genuinely great to be behind the wheel of it. Of course I enjoy mixing up the content with different types of cars, but nobody makes me do anything specifically like this.
Loved this video because you weren't' afraid Shmee. Love the trashing on the RS! That rev limiter hit at 5:30ish was so awesome :D
"Goodbye Lamborghini, you have trashcan colors anyways" I almost heart attack LOL
Great video, Shmee. The most interesting you have posted this year.
Boris is a good trainer. Would love to have him as a co-driver for my first time out,
You know where to find me!
Perfect proof that Boris can be serious in the right times! Not a bad lap time as well! Much respect for not taking the LT, if something wrong were to happen, you'd probably be kicking yourself for not taking a different car.
Thank you carmrade White!
Great video Shmee, love to see you racing, keep them coming.
My favourite youtuber by far!
at around 2 minutes in, my god that ff has the best paint I've ever seen in sunlight, you lucky man shmee
Awesome video. I think this is one of the more interesting videos in the past few weeks.
Superb video Shmee150, I really enjoyed the commentary!
Great job guys, well done! The focus looks beautiful.
Love to see the both sides of Boris 😁 Great video guys!
Thanks carmrade!
Misha mentioned that track has changed a lot over the years. Thoughts?
No, track has been made more safe (wider, less bumps), therefore theoretically you should be able to run faster. The cars and drivers were just crazy back in the days.
+Boosted Boris Oh ok. That record lap must have been one hell of a ride lol. Thanks for the reply Boosted Boris!
to beat that laptime you would need a reborn stefan bellof, so sad he died in that accident at spa. he couldve been the greatest racer of all time, rest in peace
I'm sure some modern racing cars would beat that laptime but no one will try and risk driver's life just for that
+Boosted Boris Crazy cars and drivers indeed. But I had a clear lap"

1. Bell/Bellof: 6:11.13 (by Bellof)
2. Mass/Ickx: 6:16.85 (by Mass)
3. Wollek/Johansson: 6:31.59 - that's already slower than Bellof's fastest lap of the race with 6:25
And a few quotes by drivers
Keke Rosberg: "I feel like a passenger, I don't have the car under control 100%"
Bob Wollek: "It's no fun with these cars around the Ring. It's jumping like a deer, I lift before every brow"
Awesome video. Really interesting, and must be absolutely wonderful to have Mischa as the instructor, he knows his way around the Ring.
Thank you carmrade!

"The barbecue corner"
Holy shit that's savage af
Really cool to see one individuals knowledge of a single race track but in so many ways didn't think I was going to make it through initially but that was pretty cool
boris, you are the man! i've always enjoyed the 'drunk russian' side of you and i couldn't imagine you any differently, but you really surprised me. hats off, you seem extremely passionate and knowledgeable about cars, the car scene, motorsport and especially the nordschleife. very cool to see you being normal. also, those were some nice laps, shmee! :D
Thank you carmrade!
Shmee that was great driving and it was amazing to see you drive on the Nurburgring and it was amazing that it was your own RS! You should take your GT3 or your LT on it!!!
Awesome video Shmee, seems like a hell of a fun time ! That Rs sure look like a serious car !
Whoa! Boris is so different in his less powerful (and less drunk) form! Nice to see the real him imo :)
Thank you carmrade!

I support the way you use your cars the smart way. Yes I can't help liking crashes too but luckily there are other channels to go to for that.
Great video Tim!! It was fun to watch!!!
I was hoping to see Boris take the RS around the ring.
Big balls through Fuchsröhre on that first lap! Nicely done!!
That is one if not THE best of your videos!
This was an awesome videoclip Shmee! it's awesome to see you driving something that isn't worth 500k euro.
If you can, do more vids like this one!
"On the top of the hill there's a McLaren P16 Mso GTR application"
What a legend
Bring your LT to Ascari! Pretty sure you will fall in love with it 👍😀
Mischa is actually cooler without the Boosted Boris schtick, I like the knowledge and perspective he brought.
Great video.
Best video yet. I'm finally going to go - you've inspired me.
Great video Tim, Would love to have Boosted Boris show me around the ring.
Stop by :)
+Boosted Boris Some day!
good teacher.. but shmee was in bad gear at times... he needs more downshifting revmatch at certain corners...
That would be too much for first lesson ;)
Pushing it down the Fox hole buddy! Great video/lap :-)
Much better video, not enjoyed much content recently from Tim this is much improved.
Awesome video. Really good to see you guys give an explanation on how things really are at the ring and prove that it's not all about laptimes! Great to see Boosted Borris without the hat and vodka and showing the world that he knows his shit! Thanks for an awesome video, hoping to see you and Mischa again. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you carmrade!

Awesome video! It's great to be able to see what it's like out there, hopefully I'll take my Fiesta ST out there in the future 🙂
Epic video, great job Misha and Tim!
Tim keep up the good work more cars to come
Such an awesome video you took Shmee!!!! Such an awesome video!
Best Shmee video of 2016. Easily.
I totally agree with you...I wouldn't take the LT out on the Ring even if full insurance was available...it's not always how well you drive, but the others out there at the same time sharing the track. Hope you come to Portugal you'll love this country
Nice vid Shmee. Have to say my fave so far. Without trying to be rude...it was about cars and driving without going over the top
. Cheers.
Great video, Tim and Boris!!!
I really appreciate the content! and completely understand why not the LT around the ring however pleasee get it put on some good roads :) cheers Tim!
Amazing video, more of this! Nürburgring is heaven on earth.
Great video Shmee ! I prefer misha rather than boris but he's still an awesome guy, if I need a car and an instructor I thought of him. Well done !
I've been going back and watching ever video and clicking on the ads.
Boris knows his stuff , just great !
Focus rs in the 'ring vid, in exhange of a ford gt lol You are killing it Tim
Hey Tim, i watch your videos since a good half year i think.
It got better and better ;) especially those NoS Videos are real great!
I also just have driven 10 laps there and i totaly fell in love with the track at the moment, so your videos are coming just in the right time ;)
Without such a funny and well coach its a little bit harder to reach that laptimes you did, congratulations :)
You said uninsured, you mean while trackdays? While Touristenfahrten the track is an official "Countryroad" the german Road Laws were active and you have full insurance meanwhile driving there.
Maybe some insurers have some extra clauses or sth..
Love this Video. My first lap was terrifying too on a busy day.
Great vid. What camera are you using in these?
Really fun video! Also did a lap on the nordschleife with friends in a mates Audi RS5 back on carfriday! I just love this place! So many cars there...just the right place to be for car guys, car enthusiasts, spotters etc :)
