I first heard this song as a kid… now as an adult my mom became an alcoholic, with severe depression and anxiety… she denies that she needs help, and i have been living with her the past few months trying everything to help her get back on her feet… the amount of times i picked her up when she was on the floor wasted… the amounts of times i cooked for her cause she was too intoxicated to even stand… the amounts of times that i hear her scream her anxiety out inside her room while drunk… the amounts of times we have cried together, she told me sorry, and a couple hours later she’s drunk again… i begged her several times to stop and choose between me and the alcohol of course i wasnt the chosen…she told me to Stop worrying about her and to start living my own life…. … and now i found this song and i cant stop crying… she’s my everything and helped me so much in life… i just cant allow myself to live my own life knowing she is worse than rock bottom…with the constant fear of losing her… this song hits harder now💔 edit: I pretty much lost her...
