Around 2:30 you’re grinding a part and there’s a bearing or something in the middle there that the instructions say you need a press to push out. I don’t see you do that step did you? If so how did you?
The top of my rear struts were a little different than it said in the instructions, Im guessing because my Camaro is a 1LE and the instructions were for an SS.
Mr2Hard2See Yeah you really can’t go wrong there! Personally if I had to do one first I would bag first because more people notice a bagged car more than one with a supercharger. But it’s totally up to you, build your car however you want! Your Maro does look very nice👍🏼
So the 20x10' s & 20x11's fit under the wheel well fit with no problem or no adjustments when it's really low?...how bout kind low when driving?...I'd still like to drive it when its lowered somewhat (of course not all the way low) like 3 inch lowering...while driving. .
Everything fits perfectly. I am running 2 degrees of camber in the front so that when I air out my tires tuck up into my fender. My ride height is 40’s in the front, 60’s in the rear. So I ride real low lol.
hellcat7se7en7 Thank you! And they get the job done. Look back now I probably should have gone bigger and done dual compressors just cause then it would air up/out faster but oh well, It still works perfectly
Thor Koi I’m not 100% sure about the magnetic ride, but the 1le and zl1 have almost the exact same suspension and components so I’m guessing it will be very similar to my installation
Hey bro, I also have a 2015 SS 1LE and I was looking into getting this package. How have you liked so far since you've installed? Is the handling similar to the 1LE in it's firmer setting?? I Really wanted to find a way to make this car more daily friendly on the $#!++y Seattle Roads. and get over many issues like potholes and other stuff. But I do a lot of spirited driving and the occasional so I don't want sacrifice handling and performance, at least not too much. Also it seems like this system pretty much makes your trunk unusable if I'm not mistaken.
It rides just as great if not better than the stock suspension. Would highly recommend. And that setup took up about half of my trunk, I have a new one now that’s slightly larger.
No the aired out is just 0’s in every bag. Then for my preset ride I just tested out different amounts till I found one that I liked. I believe I run 46-48 in the fronts and 60 in the rears. Somewhere around there.
@@CronicMobileDetailing awesome thanks for your quick response appreciate it. I will be getting airlift suspension in July and was wondering if mine was going to have the same clearance but maybe a bit different since my wheels are 22". Thanks again
805gzalez Absolutely man. Yeah I would just do a lot of test fitting first. Make sure you’re not gonna rub any lines or on your bag with your tire or wheel. You should be able to fit
Thor Koi The 3H is not necessary in my opinion. I know where all my pressures are supposed to be while driving or at different presets so it’s really easy to read and use still
Orlando soto I bought mine on BagRiders.com. They have compete kits for a lot of vehicles. I have a previous video unboxing all the stuff that came in the kit if you want to check it out👍🏼
ThatCamaroGuy thanks for responding. Can I ask what adjusting you're referring to? I love bags! But I've had a lot of noise coming from my rear bags on my FRS/Brz...I'm a glutton for punishment and I'm thinking about bagging a Camaro, even though my current experience isn't the best 😁
ThatCamaroGuy if you ever get a chance, I'd love to see the ride height: you could help me solidify my decision! Thanks for getting back to me! Great work man, thumbs up
Mr. Fier I’m guessing you meant to type rough estimate? But labor would depend on where you take it and how long they take. This was a friend who helped me and it took us about 20 hours in 1 weekend.
ThatCamaroGuy - ok thanks - I just brought to a local shop guy said about 6k to install and about 2400 for the kit. So about 8400 total. Which if your saying 20 hours that’s about double labor he was trying to get or even a little more - I’ll keep shopping.
@@therealMFfeelyaheard I know this is 2 years too late but you made a wise decision shopping elsewhere my friend. 6K to install ?! That's ridiculous ! I ordered my 3H Airlift Performance kit from a local authorized dealer/installer and he charged me $1200.00 + plus $300 for the height sensor install. He also included a warranty with free towing. Aside from the Height sensors - a 3P system is really no different than installing stock struts or coil overs and wiring up a sound system. His warranty and the fact that height sensors are a pain in the ass to install is what made me decide to pay him instead of doing it myself. At least you got a deal on your kit. Mine was $3800 with height sensors , dual compressors and second harness. I bought mine when there wasn't any special but he gave me a discount on install since i went through him for the kit and install. in total I paid $5300.00 for everything .
@@blkeclipsel2400 nice 👍 I never did this project sadly. I still want to. Have a 2016 Camaro ss super charged with like 5k miles on it. Can you set it to basically any height you want and drive that way safely?
Dude, how did nobody notice he put the camber plates in sideways which is wrong!! Notice how the car didn’t camber in when dumped? Good video, but you should fix the plates man
Looks sick man!! What did that kit cost and where can you get it?

Hey man what size tank is that I bought a 5 gallon tank am looking at it and thinking of it will fit in my trunk 😢
Awesome video. Are the 1/4" lines big enough for the car?

How did you run you're front airlines to the tank at the back? I am currently installing mine on my fifth gen....
Did u had to role ur fenders
I have a 2016 ss with 22s . do u think I could put an air system on it and how much do u think it would be to have someone do it
hey, do you know if ist possible to install the 3P Airlift Systen on a 5th Camaro ZL1 with Magnetic Ride? thanks

Did you adjust the bags height to what you wanted your “aired out” height to be before inflating them? Or was the preset height good enough?

ThatCamaroGuy thank you!
What size of wheels do you have on bro?
805gzalez They’re 20x10 in the front and 20x11 in the rear. I can’t remember the offset but they’re the factory wheels that come on ZL1’s and 1LE ‘s.

It took me and another person a weekend to do everything
Did the kit come with all the fittings needed?
cod brenn123 Yup 👍🏼
you use the 3P system. why not the 3H system? or is not neccessary?

ThatCamaroGuy do you know how much you paid for the whole kit ?
VIP3RNATION2 BagRiders had a 20% off Air Lift at the time so I spent $2800 on the kit
What size wheel and tire are you running
They are 285/35R/20’s all the way around. Slightly different offsets though. They’re 10 wide in the front and 11 in the rear.
fuckin great job! how long did it take to complete? how much would you charge to install that kit if i bought it for my 2011 SS convertible?
So it has been 10 months on this setup. Any issues or regrets ?
Mr Fritz No issues at all, I absolutely love it
How do you like the ride quality? We're you able to align the car with no aftermarket parts?
Karl Febel Rides great, took a little adjusting but it’s awesome now. No problems with alignment either

which supension kit did you use?
I’m running the Air Lift Performance 3P system with NOW two Viair 444C compressors and a 4 gallon polished tank.
How much was the kit?
Derek Dowty They were having a tax season sale at the time so 20% off all Air Lift Performance so it was around $2800 at the time.
What’s fitted under the air tank ?
What suspension did you have on?
Does the car aires out on rear tires 315/35?
I only have 285’s in the rear, I’m guessing 315’s would be too wide though.
