@@Objectional_Opinion I did it a year ago or so. In the new layout of Carly, I think it's under the Instrument Cluster tab in Carly Coding. There you will see an option called Gear Shift Indicator. This should be it. Then again I did this when Carly had the previous design layout which I honestly prefer to the one they have now.

This was on by default on my F22 6-MT (US). I don’t think it’s ever told me to downshift, and I’ve had the car for “a while” at this point. So, you know, it doesn’t preclude good judgement, and listening to the engine. Especially when the car is tuned.
i coded mine and the arrows pop up but nothing else regardless to how i drive, no numbers or anything like that… also i know my kombi module is not coded to my car.. not sure if that makes a difference (uk car)

You can flash a tune on your car, and it will remove the catalyst effciency codes. But that just makes the cel go away. To pass smog you still need to install a dp fix.
Well done! I've been scouring the internet trying to figure out how to code away the self leveling warning light I get on my E70 after removing the rear air bags and replacing them with coils. I wonder, do you think INPA could do that?
So I noticed that the redline moved as the car warmed up. I could see it move as you drove. Could you explain how that was accomplished or provide a video sometime about how to do this? That's a really interesting feature..
Hi how can i upgrade my cluster in my 05 330i to show the bc menu were you set lock settings and auto headlight sensitivity mine don't have a y of it.?
Yes it seems to be load based. It would tell you to downshift if you're in too high of a gear and giving it too much throttle. Or of it you're going up an incline it would be more fuel efficient to keep in a lower gear etc.

(which module to code and what to change, it takes place in ncsdummy if i'm not mistaking). And how to code the "follow me home" video could be nice too. Or perhaps a generic coding video but with getting technical (without the installation part and so on, more the which module does what and what can be changed). But anyways, i love your videos, and whatever you do for next video it's gonna be a good one. Thanks buddy
@@thinkdifferent6403 I did it on my 2007 E93 335i, my 2002 E46 330Ci and my wife's 2004 E53 3.0i with Carly on my phone - so if it's possible there it'll be possible with NCS. You get the choice of beeps on unlock, lock or both. Appreciate this doesn't answer your question, but letting you know it is possible.
Isnt that too distractive when you drive? You should be watching the road. Getting focused on that small shift number, can cause accidents by distraction, I think.

Carly allows you to do the same thing as well. Much easier IMO, but then again you have to buy it. Love your videos!!

Try a fresh install on a laptop and try the version I linked in the description. It's much easier to setup.

DCT in automatic mode is an excellent shift vs. load instructor. I was over revving for light loads.

Europe has a lot of manual stick shift cars, so that why they have it by default.

He got it tuned at eurocharged so they usually deal with that or any tuner does it if you have catless dps

You should be able to do that with NCS Expert. You can change the vehicle order to a car without air suspension.

Thanks, it's only available if your cluster is programmed as a manual from what I can tell.
Seems like it is asking you to shift right at ~2000rpm each time
For the most part but it changes based on load like if you're going uphill etc.

You'd have to retrofit the alarm and speaker. I looked into it before but the hardware was around $350

This was already activated on my car by BMW itself (from the factory). Maybe only for Europe and not the US market?
Yes from what I've read EU cars come with it coded from the factory.

It's possible but difficult/costly. I converted my original gauges to look like M3 gauges. You will find a couple videos on my channel regarding that.

Have you looked into the Alipina tune or XHP? If you flash the transmission with either of those tunes your gear will be indicated.
If you need this then you have no business in driving a car. Go get yourself another iphone or whatever tools for dummies they produce nowadays
