These cases are some specific examples, which just happened recently and are still making fuss all over the internet. Let's find out how serious they are!

Tbh i find ryujin's outfit really cool. Theyre wearing model designer clothes so you cannot expect it to be in fancy kpop style. It's reallys sophisticated

Stylists should understand that we love the kpop stars for their talent not outfit. So giving them tiny dresses causes the female idol a lot of hate, but its not only the stylist's fault but its the audience's fault, they are hating kpop female stars for something they can't control
I agree with this that most people might like idols for their talent and all but lets not forget most of the K-pop fans like the idols for their visuals and fashion and stuff which kinda makes the stylist want to give some different outfits to the idols(and you know how most of the fans of female idols are males and they do love to see those idols in revealing clothes just the way female fans love to see male idols abs and all) I know that stylists are wrong sometimes(like there are some outfits which are totally worse) but I think that the companies kinda like tell them to do something out of the box to you know like stand out and gain popularity and all.....

3:28 that was like one of the coolest looks of ryujin...this kinda fashion really suits her and especially with that hair
I think those clothes look ugly and uncomfortable. Ryujin has a gorgeous figure and more hip style, she would never wear that poorly fitting piece of fabric If she had a choice.

that ITZY part, i think they nailed thier outfits individually. its just that looking at them together makes thier outfits look questionable or it just doesnt go well. its like seeing an individual celebrities taking a photo togetehr because they attended the same event.
iTZY DRESS WAS REALLY GOOD.
I remember watching Yujin’s interview segment with Minju when it just came out and wondering ‘what on Earth is she wearing?! That is a bra, that can’t be anything other than a honest to God bra!’
But everyone in twitter comments was gushing over Minju, Yujin and Minju being together so it wasn’t until later on that I finally saw others questioning the outfit choice 😅
K... But I kinda liked itzy's outfits, like fashion isn't about being cute and blending in with the trends. It's about art and catching the eyes of many. It's a way of expression. Ryujin's outfit was my personal favorite
When the artist go to these fashion shows, the brand send them clothes not many artist have a choice on what they wear at the shows
The issue with most of the styling is the poor fit. In the case of Itzy at Burberry, you can clearly see they wore sample sizes, but the sample sizes are for models who are 5ft 10"/178cm or taller and have not been fitted to their size.
The stylists are under a lot of pressure as well and don't always get to choose what the artists wear, in other words they are given certain clothes by a brand, have very limited budget or briefed by the agency and have to get it to work. As with the artists, they are only human and don't always necessarily get it right.
I think Ryujin looked kinda cool >< like a vampire/demon slayer or something

i genuinely dont understand everyones problem with yujin’s outfit and especially the sexualisation claims bc i just dont think theres anything sexual about it? the top and bra combo cover her up and it also makes out for an interesting outfit. maybe its just because im younger but i really dont think that bras are sexual in nature?

I agree. Because of the black top I feel it's a huge stretch to suggest it's overly sexual. Especially compared to the outfits shown on the Momoland members in the same video. They were exposed and some of them appeared as though they might have been feeling uncomfortable.
I swear sometime last decade there was a brief sort of trend for wearing bra tops over t-shirts. I saw it in magazines and on mannequins in shops mostly. Sometimes it could be quite cute and other times it would look rather odd. On Yujin I don't think it looks bad at all. Women have been wearing underwear as outerwear for decades now and it doesn't necessarily mean it looks provocative. I really don't see anything inappropriate about it at all

YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT IN SK, THE WEATHER NOW IS SO COLD. YES, MAYBE, THOSE OUTFITS AREN'T THE BEST BUT THEY LOOK PRETTY FEMININE. THEIR STYLIST MIGHT IMPROVE WITH TIME.

Aren’t Momoland like in their 20’s? I mean honestly the fit of the pink dress on the metallic thing looked kind bad with her body, I honestly think they were covered well enough.
I think Aespa’s mama’s awards outfits were god awful. Everyone by NingNing looked like pirates (maybe should have taken the Everglow nee release) and then NingNing looked like some cheap rave outfit, even if it fit more with the theme of their group. Honestly I don’t get why they didn’t just reuse a outfit from the music video or just wore a shirt and jeans with their names on them.
itzys look does not look bad at all. lmfao ryujin looks amazing in that black leather fit I think it’s one of her best looks ive seen her in so far definitely. plus they’re all wearing Burberry, which make winter coats that’s what they’re marketing. winter coats are not supposed to be revealing or showing ones body, they’re supposed to keep you warm. also the comment on yuna was uncalled for, do you expect her to go out in the cold wearing skin tight clothes? that’s foul. they all looked great

Okay no the ITZY thing is just hate at this point. Burberry is a luxury brand, you can’t expect them to be dressed in highlight pink crop tops and short skirts especially by this time of the year. If you don’t understand how fashion works just say so, instead of attacking pressured stylists who have short time frame to come up with something good.

1. for momoland, there is absolutely nothing wrong with their outfits. keep in mind these are grown women!! literally check their instagrams, they post pics in bikinis and stuff. a certain cut dosent suddenly make them “uncomfortable”. honestly though, as an asian person it rubs me the wrong way when ppl always say their idols are “uncomfortable” in an outfit when it’s a little revealing. seems a bit like infantilization of asian women. I feel bad for these ladies, While some ppl think making groups wear matching outfits or properly covered outfit (at least not showing too much skin) is dated they make their stylist end up putting them in ridiculously showy outfits that are even worse in design and structure,I honestly think the uniform style outfit with cute tartan plaid skirts,ties and shirts are the best outfits I've seen on idol girls so far and they all look uniform and more comfortable, sometimes trying too much innovatives end up in raw disasters,they deserve better🥺

(3)And about Itzy, I won't say the outfits were ugly, they were just boring. Other than Ryujin, they all were dressed like ordinary people. (Also, just so y'all know, modelling isn't always about wearing beautiful designer clothes with a lot of accessories, sometimes it's just modelling in ordinary clothes or sometimes ridiculous outfits, so people would buy that. Everyone have different fashion sense, and not everyone wears the same clothes. What you're calling ridiculous, many people may like it and wanna buy it, and the role of a model is to show what a garment looks on a person rather than a mannequin to make the decision-making easy for the person who wanna buy the outfit. You can say, "but our faves shouldn't dress like that" or something, but it's just dumb). Itzy are amazing models.

I personally don't understand why people are complaining about the Itzy and Yujin cases. The outfits weren't flattering but other than that, it isn't a big deal. I don't think Yujin's outfit is meant to be s3xual at all. As for Momoland's case I understand.

My problem with the momoland stylist is how cheap and tacky the material looks. And that is a bra bra not a tasteful lingerie styling and what in the world did they put Ryujin in.
I don't think momoland were sexualized, just the execution and material used was poorly executed and done. Ryujin would have looked lovely if that dress was made to fit her body type more and still leave her hair the way they had it with a darker tone lipstick, and putting Yeji's hair in neat bun with strands coming out on both sides of her face would have been perfect, because with her hair parted in the middle just emphasizes her hair loss(which she probably doesn't want to show) and makes it look like she's going for a funeral with the coat.
I have seen lots of Somi's dancers that the skirt was to short & I could see safely shorts. I think it's disgusting, they should just put shorts on the girls instead of making them look provocative.
