1:07:20 I came from the future to say that the assistant referee had a brilliant career and for many he was the best referee ever. The great Nigel Owens
Crazy watching this in 2023, was a very different game back then, just side to side in terms of backline moves, was all very predictable and very much an 80 minute arm wrestle really. This at the time we thought was the start of our golden generation with bod, poc, rog etc all starting to come in to their own and what a fantastic group they were, but the funny thing is, I genuinely think with how the game has evolved tactically as the pro era has progressed and the sheer depth we have now that we could field two different 15's today that would stick 50 points on either of those England and Ireland teams. A pod based backline move would likely make a whole 2006 defenses heads explode in unison. Just would not have a clue what's going on. What a time to be an Irish fan.
I always loved how Andy goode just looked like your average fella who works for the council spending 6 months to fix a pothole than a professional rugby player
this was the first rugby match i ever watched.
What a game! And good to savour a win in Twickenham, they don't come round every year. First time the triple crown had an actual trophy on offer too.
Simply the green Army : fight and win, YESSS, Magnificent 15 !!!!

Something very nostalgic about watching this game. The Irish jersey is one of the best we've had
1:35:08 Nigel Owen's positioning for the Horgan try - MASTERCLASS!
Perfect

You mean an unprofessional fat useless waster - who should have been given the brush
Powerful run by Wally @1:05:24
Wasn't O'Driscoll in front of the kicker leading up to Ireland's winning try? Just curious. Good game that was
Ireland aye won on St Paddie's Day or just after St Paddie's Day v England
Just a bang to the head......
Don't mess with Dawson 😀

Watching this with the cocksure irish commentators attitude is hilarious
Shane Horgan!
