As a sailor, I trade with small boats and local fishermen all the time. I’m all about trading fish/lobster for rum, tobacco, fishing line etc. Good tucker, mate.

Crikey that steak dinner made me so hungry looking at it, it looked amazing! I was going to ask how you kept charging everything, you could make a couple of cool videos showing how you decked out the dingo to make the journey possible. Esp the Drone charging and cameras etc. The camp site looked so chilled, I was so jealous thinking I need to do more of that. Just back in from taking the young lads out on a spearing, finished washing everything down, cold beer and taking a holiday with You and Fran! I’ve just discovered your vids and I’m hooked. I used to spear, fully kitted out, but sold that years ago. Ive now picked up a new hand spear and am going back to basics - nothing better in a mask-wearing fear mongering COVID world. Thanks guys!
Excellent videos. Anyone with the notion to undertake such adventures should do so as long as they are not going into it with ignorance of the risks. Luckily I have been able to undertake such adventures over many years but not in such idyllic situations but now as I am older but dying of a spreading cancer I look back with fondness on my life, the people I’ve met. I came to this channel over the last couple of weeks in the dark times in hospital when I was so ill. Remember the joyous times in your life and if you think you need to change your young lives don’t be afraid too change. I’m 62 years old and as a young man had old f*rts sagely telling me if you are young, free from shackles of life, healthy and fit you can visit the world and change your own life. Loved these videos, they brighten the darkest of nights in hospitals.
What I like is that beautiful plate of sashimi arranged so nicely, all out of small boat, while the yacht owners would be hard pressed by a 48 hour try at your setup.
Nice. Spanish fillets were always our go-to fish in the far north... if trout or reds were too high a price (They all went on the menu of our pub). None of those oysters would have made it back to be smoked by me. I love them too much, fresh off the rocks. That lobster was a giant, nice find. The others a bonus. The red meat was a treat. Everyone needs a change now and then. But really, fresh seafood... I think I could live on it, unless a trade was made. I know that game. Good stuff.

If you have some salt, pepper, and lemon you could sun dry your fillets and make jerky. Just marinade it for two hours and let the sun dry them out. This way you can keep your fish for a long time and eat it when you just need something to tide you over to the next catch.

I'm definitely a beef lover. lol and BTW ibfor one do want to see some of the day to day maintenance and realities behind this way of life. you two are living the life. especially for us who have long winters dreaming of getting our boats out in the spring.
worked in Nigeria back in the 1980s only way to get food for the Tug I was running for Agip was to fish , spent some serious time running around the platforms and SBM mooring fishing snappers, extra Large Barracudas and Wahoo , had a 400 lb freezer in my room to load red fish and what ever I decked , traded with Camp Boss , gots some good trades in

With any fish Roe, just roll in flour and shallow fry. The smaller the Roe the sweeter. Mullet row is my favourite. Give it a go bro👌🏽
