It isn’t just millionaires that need planning. I’ve seen families torn apart fighting over $100,000 or less. Siblings not speaking to each other again over $50,000.
Great video, learned a lot. You were raised really well. My father came from poverty and was a very successful business person, when he died I inherited a lot of money and I just don't have any motivation to work. I still value everything I buy though and am a minimalist. I just have no hustle in me. I'm not sure how you work so hard when you already have money. You just like working for work's sake, the challenge I guess. It's just hard to have any purpose in life. I travel, I learn other languages, and read. I'm just not sure what would be considered "productive". People say I should volunteer, but I would want the satisfaction of trying to make my own money first, then focus on giving back later in life. I'm 41, I just don't know how to find purpose when I'm not motivated by anything. Most people are in jobs they hate and are forced to do things they don't want to, few people have a passion for one thing. So in that way I am in a great position in life.
I know this sounds bad, but those things are so below me.. haha, no offense.. once you have millions doing that stuff is not imaginable!@@keithwisdom1663

Hearing Rob talk like this reminds me of how I use to see things and talk back in the early 2000’s I had that kind of mentality and somewhere along the line I took a left turn. Watching this video sparked that feeling in me that reminded me of that time and gave me the motivation to want to get back on track. Go right not left. Thanks Rob for real bro. 😎🇺🇸💯🔥🔥🔥🔥

Maybe he could be a resource for you. I’m so glad you’ve found this passion and been able to transition from your musical career to real estate and renovations! Your stuff is great!
Much respect on how he raised and mentored his daughter. It takes time and a lot of effort to do this, which is why most parents don't. Most parents are checked out. Its so much easier to just let your kids be entertained by the phone. I'm mentoring my son, he's 11 and launched a drone photography biz. He taught him self professional editing tools. Spent hours on tutorials. He's not making $700 a day. That's stage one, I told him he's learning taxes and investing next. He'll be a millionaire by 15. He knows he doesn't have to worry about money because we're well off and his college is paid for, but he's so motivated to do this because he understands the purpose of life isn't money, it's CREATING, learning, expansion and connection. Money is just a tool and byproduct of his investment of energy. But above that, I am teaching him the importance of choosing his mate wisely.

I mean damn there’s a lot of wisdom in what he is saying. This guy can learn from the world it’s awesome. Also didn’t expect great dad advice from vanilla but damn got to give him lots of credit
This was great. ICE you need to start a podcast! Your insights and knowledge are amazing. Always been and will be a fan of you! Keep educating people!
Being Vanilla Ice doesn't hurt when you knock on some ones door and want to talk to the owner
Thanks for sharing this, Rob.
“The problem with this world is lawyers.” Exactly!
It isn’t just millionaires that need planning. I’ve seen families torn apart fighting over $100,000 or less. Siblings not speaking to each other again over $50,000.
Man vanilla is to awesome that was a real story to tell i appreciate it
One of the most informative and worth watching videos ive seen on youtube in a while thank you Rob 😎
MORE LIKE THIS ROB!!!!!!
I remember getting vanilla ice on cassette in 1988 for Christmas I still respect this man. GO NINJA!
So in that way I am in a great position in life.
eBay stock trading, Uber, hotdogs , college, preach, etc
I know this sounds bad, but those things are so below me.. haha, no offense.. once you have millions doing that stuff is not imaginable!@@keithwisdom1663
I recently came across a video on TH-cam, and I must say, it's absolutely fantastic! The content was engaging, informative, and wonderfully put together.
this video changed my life, seriously.
I’m reading the comments and I’m not the only one who wants to hear more! 2-3 hour podcast on finance would be great..
44 yrs this is the most powerfully thing I have ever heard..!!!!…
I have NEVER sat through an entire video like this. thumbs up.
Been wanting to take a break from cleaning my garage most of the day, then Ice popped up, must take a break to watch!
Life insurance be very careful and read the fine print! I know somebody who just lost their parents' $75,000 worth of Life Insurance. That was paid from their early 20s to 60+. But defined in the [Fine Print] was only for (Accidental Death)
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom
I love the stories. I am a person who looks for those details in life. I'm hoping to find that one day. Life can be so beautiful. ❤
My older brother has his own mortgage/insurance company down there by you. He is in Davie. He’s very good at the business and is extremely smart, honest and hardworking. He flips and invests as well. Maybe he could be a resource for you. I’m so glad you’ve found this passion and been able to transition from your musical career to real estate and renovations! Your stuff is great!
I would love to sit down with Robert and pick his brain and hear all his stories. He’s the most interesting man in the world.
Bro Vanilla Ice feels like Grant Cardone's gangster cousin 🤣 Dudes an underrated Goat 🐐
love and compassion is all you need while living in this world , material things is just distraction . what a great story man.
Dude I was already a fan. Went to the 90s tour in Corbin, KY and met you backstage. This interview was awesome.
Im in nky and glad to hear this
The school system produces employees who pay tax. Buy real estate and bitcoin. I was a fan of this guy in the nineties, and I'm a bigger fan today
Over the years I have gained much respect for you buddy. keep growing
GREAT CONVERSATION. I KNEW OF HIM FROM MUSIC VIDEOS BACK IN THE DAY. SEEING HIS BUSSINESS SENSE TODAY HAS REALLY INCREASED MY ADMIRATION OF HIM! BEWARE OF THE VULTURES (GREEDY LAWYERS), GREAT ADVICE.
FACTS!!
Man do I wish I was sitting in one of these circles getting the knowledge. I got screwed really bad and still struggling to survive. I have to say just watching this gave me a little pep in my step. Thank you. Will be looking forward to more videos like this.
Likewise. I’m beat up. But this will make me try again. I will research many things. Have a better strategy. For my last big effort
Rob is 100% correct about vultures taking your money. Opportunist s. Sucking what you have out of you and people bleeding you dry when you got some money. Rob is totally on it. He is very, very smart and that's because he has seen and or experienced it and he learned a lot of people would have learned the lessons well. Just gone through it but I've been watching his videos and Rob is sharp as a fucking nail dude. He knows his shit
Agree that Money / Finance / Stock market needs to be taught in School! The government wants 100% of what you have when you die. Educate yourself and your children. Can't believe I watched this , but was intrigued then hooked. Love your energy.
Go Ninja. Go Ninja. Go.
Thank you Vanilla Ice.
From Craig. UK.
Have an awesome Super Bowl!
You the man Rob. I had your rap tape, your metal CD, watched you on the Surreal life and then the Vanilla Ice Project. You are a true Florida Man, in the good way people outside Florida don’t understand. I’ve been in real estate and construction for over a decade and just started in finance and insurance. You have some great tips in this vid that most millionaires don’t even know about. I can’t wait to see your next evolution. Are you still opening the brewery?
What he said about the vultures at death is very very true.
Rob ! Live the video !
Definitely grew up with you and wish I had more guidance in my life for a more sound direction and you found it.
The 1 thing that I love about this is how to pass and protect assets and money to pass on to my kid's.
Truly a value moment for me to want and need to learn about assets and asset protection from the vouchers out here .
I am blue collar guy and work hard and definitely need to find a way to work for myself and teach my kid's how to manage and protect the future generations to come cause it has to start somewhere !
But figuring out who to trust is the tuff one and where to start is another.
Thx. A million hope you put another video out of this nature soon . Pt. 2 soon ?
Thanks again Rob.
As much shit as they talked about him I bet he is better off mentally, financially and his soul is whole still because he didn't sell it! Seems like a great guy
Luv that 1st story. I agree it gets to an point where money is not the most important thing, it's about someone uvcan share something with
Live and let live--thats a song.😂❤.
That is a great story! Ive been through Manalapan, Fl it is a beautiful area. I also saw your show while you were renovating/rebuilding this exquisite mansion!
People poked fun and laughed at this guy for years. I'm glad he was able to find his true calling after his music career wrapped up. He's proof, perseverance, and dedication can take you a long way. F^*k the haters! Don't let people tell you who you are. Blaze your own path...
ICE gives amazing advice here. Real world, right to the point knowledge. Explained in a non-condisending way that you can and should utilize right away. This is better than a lot of paid classes taught by so called business professionals and college / university professors. ICE putting on a true masterclass. In history he will go down as one of the most talented, successful, multifaceted and giving persons ever.
I subscribed enjoy the video Vanilla. I use to live in South Florida and moved back up Jacksonville. Wish you the best brother 👍👍👍
How very insightful! I knew he was a really smart businessman. It’s wild getting financial advice from a guy I watched perform on live tv as a little girl. He’s inspiring as hell. I’ve been devouring every book I can get my hands on lately to get ahead. I’m tired of floating through life as a victim. I was left with nothing … never again!
I also didn’t know he was from Dallas! Hells yeah! Thank you for sharing your wisdom Robert 🙏 .
soo what kind of trust do u setup to avoid death tax?
you’d think he’d say in the video since he spent so much time alluding to how it’s done 😂
seriously @@galactic25
When you said you showed up at keg parties in your 5.0 made my day Fo-Sho !!!!!!
I always enjoy people that have intelligence and good information. Thank you, Rob.
Most Americans who are not wealthy don't need to know much about taxes. Most don't even have $500 for an emergency. The vast majority of poor people don't earn enough to even owe taxes.
Exactly this video is for a different demographic
Absolutely powerful you speaking the real truth about the changes that have happened and how history is being erased ❤
Would be great if you could start a youtube series on real estate investing and finance!
Yes, this world and old ideas are out. We need fresh new minds like you Vanilla Ice?? Bring it on. Confusing Americans is all we see anymore. Speaking on taxes, im a disabled american and i think its outrageous that disabled people on low incomes are even being taxed-- like why?? Dumb, Dumber, and Dumbest just has to stop.😮😂❤
Great video, looking forward to more similar content brother!
Lol! "Lets kill all the lawyers" ....Bill Shakespeare, hundreds of years ago!
Never liked you as a rapper but love you as human and your energy is contagious!👍
Why does the Cuban have a Mexican accent 😂....Love you brother
This video was extremely insightful! Lots of good points to ponder on and think about! Vanilla ice, thanks for being a great teacher!❤❤❤
Man, I loved this!
I’m glad this video came across my TH-cam food. Rob you are a very inspiring person and super knowledgeable in all aspects of life. I also love that you were brutally honest about everything. I was a huge fan of yours in the 90s. It looks like I’m gonna be a huse huge fan again from now on. Very uplifting talks.
@Vanillaice heard of you growing up an your songs your a legend and a real one in my eyes man I wasn’t a big follower of yours until recently I appreciate you for the knowledge you put out that’s the real power, much respect 🫡 I’m sorry but some the questions just wasn’t the time and place an or right questions they could’ve asked! But all in all man absolutely great watch ! I just subscribed a liked an y’all should too this man speaking for everyone putting us on game ! Mathis what needed in the world god is great family and country 🇺🇸
Dang Ice, you have impressed me man. Stay blessed brother.
I’ve watched some of your interviews which led me to start reading “The Platinum Rule” and now this which is great as well. On behalf of all of us that don’t have a mentor would like to thank you for charring this game with us. You could tell there’s no BSn
This is the reason why he's laughing at all the wannabe rappers who talked down to him. He took the laughter and turned it into a chance of prosperity. He took knowledge and turned it into a life income. God Blessed you well. I wish you all the best. Send love from Philly.
More of this please.
Very Smart Man!!
AMAZING VIDEO!!! Sharing life's valuable nuggets of experience! THANK YOU! One thing that I started thinking about before you got into it was, you definitely need the right Life Insurance Policy and Estate Planning (a Trust), to protect your generational wealth. Most people charge $2,000 to $5,000+ for a Trust. We do it for free. The only thing someone would have to pay for is the notary to get the docs notarized.
I’m interested to see how you set it up.
@@galactic25 I think that I have my email on my “about me” page here on TH-cam. I would give you the email here in this reply but I don’t know if it would allow me to post it, so that’s why I’m saying that. I look forward to your reply and be able to give you the information needed since you’re interested. if you have any issues finding it, if, for some reason you can’t locate it, let me know here in this reply and I’ll try to see what I can do to get you my contact information here in this chat, if that’s allowed. I look forward to talking with you soon.
