She got my dad's 66 Gran Prix instead. Now, that's the one I really wanted. Instead of the Bonneville I got a 69 Cutlass, also not a slouch of a car.
i use to sell american cars in europe and kept a few ,three of them are this , the grandprix convertible and a litle similar the coupe, LeMans , also a litle later than this 67 models i own one pontiac firebird the formula, it says on the side , someone told me that when released allthough for a short period of time it was the fastest car in the world, i have the 74 european fastest car ,A 600SL or maybe 500 not sure now ,but these big american cars are great ,just by hearing the sound of the engine ,i might go for a drive later today when it´s fresher on my LeMans
Beautiful lines, great color, so lean and sleek. Tires and wheels ruin the car though. Needs some thin whites and 8 lugs or even full factory wheelcovers. Btw, dogdish were never offered on Bonneville since they came standard with the deluxe wheelcovers as standard equipment.
After blowing up a 65 Conti Mom bought one of these. Fastest car between Las Vegas Nevada and Cedar City Utah. I say so as we NEVER got passed.
