A quick note on how Dracoray actually works. Its effect is worded differently from something like Cyanectar, so instead of triggering on a new chain after the trigger condition is hit and the current chain resolves, Cockaray will actually chain to the First Light effect itself, ascending into Dracoray, then resolving First Light after. This is why the deck shuffle doesn't ruin the first light trigger.
On the topic of the cockray/gorgons interaction, despite the cockray not being suppressed, gorgons also says the Elestral can’t acend. Does this not prevent the Dracororay summon?
i'm Holding Space for Armadawn in my solar list when moonrise drops personally; had too many situations like this where we brick on the 2-drops and i feel like a 1/6 for one might help
take out the litleos out for lumaroo and get rid of the cows for galaxea moustacean and this deck actually cooks and makes it so you can x the argoo package and the apollo for zeus and tsunami or alter
I think just running one dracoray kind of sealed the game for you. I think a second dracoray would have makes a huge difference and worst case you can ascend with ambro even if its not the first light combo which is still really good value for a 2 drop ascension.
That tip about using a second first light to play around gorgon's gaze does not work because gorgon's is broken as hell and also prevents that elestral from ascending at all for the rest of the turn.
Not sure if that's true. The suppress effect of GG makes it so the Elestral cannot ascend. Cockaray cannot be suppressed, so the GG is simply negating the activation allowing Cockaray to ascend from Dracoray from deck. Playing a second First Light would let you trigger the effect a second time.
@ Suppression does not prevent cards from ascending or attacking, those conditions are independently applied by Gorgon’s gaze. It stops all enchantments, Nexusing, attacking, and ascending.
I see the idea but don't like the Argo package for shuffles. Solar needs low cost protection to keep presence like Shield over it I think. Solar is a very endgame defensive strategy that overwhelms with advantage and much less an aggro plan. Lumaroo would probably beat out Solbelle in every iteration in this deck. That's a reason I think Dracoray shouldn't be water enchanting itself. Sure, Tsunami, but it's not aggro like Kyrovern. Get the heal, outgrind your opponent. My plan is to try and combine it with Windjinn/Tornadjinn for extra advantage and card shuffles through extremely easy fortells. Solstox is cute but again is just really bad. Sucking from your Apollo just doesn't feel good when it's your advantage engine. I want to say you said it in your Solar 10 minute testing. "Solar is a deck that's losing until suddenly it wins.". This is because it out-resources other decks in longer games.
Quick question guys, what does missenchanting do to your elestrals? As a spectstor I didn't really get that. Like, to summon them you have to pay as many spirits as listed but to activate their effects you must have those types specifically? And what benefits it particularly? Maybe missenchanting with a water may make you immune to tsunami, but is it really worth it?
LMAO
Well there he is
It's still so crazy to me that you play elestrals! It's great having you part of this community too Joey
The pokeaim influence is spreading
Me who has never touched an elestral card in my life *nodding* yes these things make sense to me.
Unrelated to the video itself but Daimax's choice of Fidel Cashflow for this vid is fucking amazing

WE DROPPIN' DRACOS!!!!!!!!!!
Two words. Armadawn burn.

it does indeed stop it - the effect can also be negated, just not suppressed lol the deck is horrible
its a shame they forgot to give Dragphallus text, Cockray is somewhat decent and Draco is just so good

Welcome back water fives
@kryssthianfroynoel8310 5's never dies just changes form 🤣🤣
Would Drops of Lethe be better for deck shuffling over Argo? I know you may be sitting it a bit, but its better than waiting for a trigger.
I think argo is played since it compresses tsunami and [card that shuffles the deck] into one card? Since you need so much deck space for engine
Fidel Cashflow is an insane name lmao.

I fee like you go all in on a fire/solar nexus build with Kindleo and Exaltus. Kindleo is an Ethereal so it can be searched with Exaltus.

I wish Dracoray actually had an effect
SOLAR SWEEP BABYYYYYYYY
I'm sure Trish will come up with some fucked up Solar build eventually. Solar just needs a few more bits of support, you know?
This gives us a base to cook with I'm curious how this deck evolve

I mean yeah you basically got it
and yes, depends on the situation but people often misenchant with water to play around tsunami
@mel_cottoncloud_ thanks for the info
COCKRAY
apollo lock? is that just "I foretold good cards so now I don't wanna activate anything that'd shuffle my deck and potentially put bad cards on top"?
