This was a loving display of reasoning together between brethren that disagree. This brother's questions, at least some of the initial ones, could be answered just by looking at and explaining the earthly sanctuary in the Old Testament from the Bible and its sacrificial system process which pointed forward to and symbolized Jesus and gave the people access to God and atonement for sins through that beforehand and afterward, Jesus taking its place as our sacrifice and becoming our mediator, giving us direct access to God as a result, doing away with the need for those ceremonial services.

Sin separates us from God Jesus died for our sins. The Bible says that without the shedding of the blood there is no remission of sins. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for us and in the Old Testament they had to bring animal sacrifices and there blood was shed but Jesus blood was untainted there fore he is now the mediator between man and God. How else would our sins be forgiven today without Jesus when we all our born into sin from our mothers womb.
