I was stunned by how beautiful his music was. How simple and deep his lyrics were. The beautiful layers, the lush vocal harmonies, his plaintive and authentic delivery. It was all so achingly beautiful. Such texture and gentleness. And then I wept. Openly, freely, my heart just breaking. My son emerged from the kitchen and saw me crying, and without saying a word he sat next to me and gave me a hug. Now I understand. I always tell myself, as I've always told my son, never let anyone form your opinions about music, listen and then decide, because you just might be surprised. how beautiful to have that lesson circle back and be taught to me by my son. RIP Mac Miller, your music was a gift to the world and you will be sorely missed.

Mac, I come back to this album often. I have been through heartache I'm sure you can imagine. I just lost my oldest brother to stage IV cancer and it's made me feel dead inside. I remember finding out when you passed. I was in my college library. My friend texted me with the news. I thought he was joking, so I googled it for myself. He was not joking. I started to feel the volcano of emotion. I walked to the bathroom and entered the nearest stall. I cried harder than I have ever cried. I mourned for 3 days after I found out. i miss you, Mac. I bumped this album heavy when it came out and when I got my second cancer diagnosis. My girl left me while I was fighting and this album helped me tremendously man. Seriously. Love!
I love the fact I got to see Macs original sound and how it’s changed with himself and myself. I truly got to grow up with his music, it’s actually incredible to say the least.

I’ve been grieving for this man I didn’t even know since I found out he passed. He had so much sadness and kindness in his heart that it makes his death even more tragic. Swimming has definitely spoken to me about how struggling with depression and the thoughts in your head can be so toxic. I hope he is finally at peace and can rest forever 💔

Being a true fan means not to be riding on someone popped of trend wavy and chasing clout in a frantic and hysterical hipster esque group wearing his current success as accolades over does he deserves the fame or not bla bla bla. A true fan will truthfully understand the messages and emotionally vibe and motivation behind the piece of work. Hell be transported into all sorts of places if its a good and great artists that can truly carry themselves and their music. Hell even go so far as to buy the album and listen to it as was intended.

I just started listening to Mac , and I noticed his music is the most dope.
Crazy how mac has left a small thread in every song, when he fell he pulled those threads, drawing us all together. What's truly amazing is how regardless of the distance, those threads managed to reach all of us. We will forever be tied to the most dope family, continuing to surround mac with love, respect, and admiration. In all of your worst moments, look at that thread and remember you are not alone. We got you.

The bars he was hitting on this track were the start of absolute mastery... funky, flowy, heartful, soulful stuff. The production is insane as well, mac was peaking as an artist.

My brother used to play this one Mac Miller song all the time that I didn't like. I would always ask him to change it. One day I heard Senior Skip Day which I like because it had an overall nice message and was funny. I looked up Mac Miller and found Good News which became my favorite song. Once I told my brother, he was so happy and played all his songs. I really love Mac Miller and I regret not giving him a second chance because of one song. I wish I knew about him and was a fan before he passed away. I can't relate to most of his songs YET, but his music is just so genuine and he was such a nice guy. Overall he is genuinely one of favorite music artists and will always be. R.I.P and thank you for all the amazing music, Mac.

Mac, I come back to this album often. I have been through heartache I'm sure you can imagine. I just lost my oldest brother to stage IV cancer and it's made me feel dead inside.
I remember finding out when you passed. I was in my college library. My friend texted me with the news. I thought he was joking, so I googled it for myself. He was not joking. I started to feel the volcano of emotion. I walked to the bathroom and entered the nearest stall. I cried harder than I have ever cried. I mourned for 3 days after I found out.
I have only cried harder for my brother. Listening to your music makes me think of both of you.

FIlmore Theater 2013. Chance the rapper was opening up for you, he was playing his newly released ACID RAP songs. You came out playing a mellow song, but lyrically it was powerful. Ill never forget that moment when you felt my energy in crowd because i was the only one moving my fingers in the air, mimicking the flow cause god damn it was fire. But you started doing the same thing and for just 5 seconds we both were aligned with the music. It was small, but it was one of the most memorable moments ive ever had. You will be missed my guy

Its sad to think I that I only really starting diving into his music because of his death but I can say that this is some of the best rap I've heard in a long time.
