Tried it this week in the best niche store in Portugal (Embassy). The rose one is so deep and rich but I would rather go for Guerlain Rose Nacrée for a rose. The Amber Gold reminds me of like a extra luxurious Ambre Sultan. Still too expensive in my opinion.
It is funny. I got these samples yesterday and I tried both. It is a must buy. The rose 🌹 is the best , I agree that the rose is better but I believe you can blend the two

Any suggestion plz frag with : 30% amber 20% tobacco 20% orange blossom 20% cedar wood 5% vetiver and 5% jasmin
I have these two... Both are awesome but as always, Amber can't outshine Rose as simple as that.... Rose Gold performs like beast while Amber Gold performs more like Amber Star kind of forming an envelope of scent around you while Rose Gold fills up the room... I think that selling them as a duetto is not the best idea.
I've only sampled Amber Gold. It's has a nice orange blossom opening but the fun stops when the body starts smelling like a variation of their existing Kobe. It sounds like a remix of existing Xerjoff accords and nothing new, and what's up with the crazy price?. I can't remember what Rose Good was like but i should sample it again. There's so many good rose scents and it has to be truly exceptional to command such a price.
What was that amber scent you had in the travel size? Would like to look it up and check out the reviews and composition.

I've sampled both and agree they are not worth the price tag. One problem I have with Xerjoff is the overpricing of their fragrances.
Nah xerjoff have one of the best and richest fragrances, there is s reason why did get are called luxurious
