We just love your father 👨 he’s such a character. We have seen the two Johnnies we love them they’re great. We love the Irish love the craic. We love watching your farm and all what you both do .We are just mad for Ireland of Irelands.Thank you for sharing.🎉🎉🎉🎉
The Forestry looks great ,,,, However when the trees grow higher and then fall over en-mass during the storms , the roads and paths will be impassable for ages ... 11 days here in Co. Mayo since the storm and no Electricity .
Made me smile watching the sheep following the troughs up the mountain Reminded me of the cows chasing the truck when dad fed corn on stalks in the fall
Great video, scenery spectacular. You're grafting hard. Usually I feed the hill ewes just hay and they have an 80kg crystalix block(only size that won't blow away in the gales). Last year after scanning they didn't do well and I blame the constant rain, despite going on to concentrate by then. So this year since they went to the hill ive been giving one bag of a 16% concentrate to 70 ewes a day with some hay and a block. They are different sheep. lst year I almost fed a block a week and this year I have hardly used any but still swear by the crystalix. Interested to know how much feed are you giving per head and what % protein. Also will you increase it or keep a steady plain of diet. Your ewes don't look bad at all.
Hed spoil the sheep so in the best of fresh green grass. I'm not a farmer, but spent many a great day working on farms as a young lad during the summer, I only realised now I only got to see the fairytale part of it. Keep up the great content.
How ye boys.did ye find the second feeder.drone is a great job for finding big stuff like that.ye have some amount of ewes.ye will be busy in march hope the weather is better this year for lambing.
My reason to wanting one is I part time help a mate doing power hosing drive ways cleaning gutters, and the amount of times I carried triple ladder s around the back of a house only to find gutters already clean as a whistle
Love the videos with all the sheep work

0.5 kg roughly for 6 weeks prior to lambing. 18% protein from roaches feed, they will get more then once the 1st start lambing.
I thought you had a giant black and white cow in the trailer. Think I need my eyes tested 😂
😂😂
The forestry and turbines took the storm very well. A good result for you. Lots of pine and spruce down in other parts.
A question for your dad.he keeps mentioning good land at variuos parts of the country,if he had the best of land, what type of farmer would he choose¿
If he had the land above in east cork, we would have 200 dairy cows and 500 sheep.
We can dream 😂

The Two Johnnies are great ........ When are they going to do a proper "Late Night Lock In with just Farmers .......
Soon hopefully
Did you c the way they went easy on harris all part off rte bullshite
My ewes just been scanned, wasn't happy with the condition of the older ewes so having to feed nuts, the silage just isn't enough for them it seems.
Ya you're spot on
Those troughs look good will last a long time 👍
Ya we got some a few years ago aswell. A great job
I see there us a bit of ground for sale next door to you. Would it be something you'd be intersted in?
No zero interest
