Now that is the absolute best way to cut hair !! I've been saying for so many years, that you get a much more accurate haircut, when it is done on hair that is fully dry, and this video just proved my point, a job very well done, kudos to the Stylist on this one.

As a hairdresser my self I would have put the long hair in a pony tail and cut just above it to keep the long hair to give to the Lock of Love for people who lost their hair because of Cancer Treatments.
Merry Kay Milam It has been a longe time since i did this haircut, but probably the hair didn’t fit the dutch donation requirements. If the length is 25+cm, untreated, no layers and good quality i always donate and do the haircut for free.

It might seem random but when cutting dry you can see the natural fall and bend of the hair and the shape that the hair has because of the shape of the skull. Using this natural shape gives a great starting position for the basic bob. Watch at about 0.23 seconds. You can see clearly the guide (wave in the hair) that i am following.

Sorry, but I love long hair. I would never cut my hair in that style because that's not my preferred style. My hair is to the waist and I'm glad to say I've never once colored it. Hairdressers tell me they love my hair. I've had long hair all my life and I'm 61 and there is very little noticable gray.

I would never dry cut a bob only to remove the unwanted length ...I would then wet precision cut ...never seen it done this way and dont think the end result was the best 😬
This channel is all about my journey as a hairdresser. It shows my growth, mistakes, achievements in 3d, 360 degrees and unedited ;). Cutting this way was interesting. I think as a hairdresser you should experiment and try things. You will learn a lot. At the time i was happy and my model was happy. Since this haircut i have been training with sassoon and allilon and i leveled up my skills. Would i cut this way now? No ;). Check out my more recent work for a lot more and better bobs. I honestly think that this haircut, hairdo, does not become her. I think that a shorter cut with the hair away from her face, would make her look much prettier. On the other side, the stylist didn’t wash her hair....
This is not a Princess Diana haircut. It’s the same long in the front forward bob I’ve seen for the last 20 years. I’ve had this cut, and it’s ok. But it’s nothing, NOTHING like what Princess Diana used to wear.
This guy is the worse I have ever seen. I wouldn't allow him to cut my dogs hair. He did a hell of a hack job on her hair. That hair should have been portioned and cut so it could be donated to kids going through chemotherapy for wigs. What a waste. Instead all that hair is going in the trash. This is a diabolical haircut wasted hair by not tying it up in ponytail before cutting off, could have been sent to make wigs, thank god the hair was not messed with colour.A very shabby cut did not suit client it was shocking.

My biggest fear! I had highlights at JC Penny one time. I was working so much that I couldn't get into my normal hair dresser. They fried 8 inches off my hair and ended up cutting it short. It was so damaged that it couldn't be colored again for months. It finally grew out again and got back to normal. The last person that did it (I moved away) dried it out really bad. I'm going to wear a pony tail until Spring. Maybe then I'll be ready to cut it. Idk 😢 I hope yours grows out soon !

Locks of love here in America accepts all but it has to be at least 10" long. If its dyed or grey they sale it to different companies to make a profit. They make Wigs for children with cancer. Pony tails takes only virgin hair, no grey and can't be shorter than 8" long. Could they have sent it here to America?

Sandy Hessel It was colored and more important not 30cm of good quality hair in length. So this hair was not suitable for donation. The donation criteria here in the Netherlands are strict!
I thought the same thing, but I think they have to put the hair in a ponytail before they cut it to donate it to Locks of Love so that the cuticle of the hair stays in the same direction. That was such a waste.
