So much more Watsky, please. Any of his stuff, but “No Flex Zone” with Karmin, “Don’t Be Nice”, “Never Let it Die”, “Strong as an Oak”, “Sloppy Seconds”, “Cardboard Castles” anything. Dude is brilliant and I love seeing someone as insightful and knowledgeable as you break down a brilliant wordsmith like Watsky. Also his videos are always dope.
Also Watsky said years ago that “I jump the freeway median, I’m savage, cuz my mode is that I’m meaner than the average.” Is his favorite line he’s written.

Okay so I have a laundry list of Watsky songs you *need* to react to, but first and foremost, PRIORITIZE EXQUISITE CORPSE! It's crazy insane how underrated that project is, considering how intricately genius the entire song/music video is, not to mention it features EIGHT other excellent rappers (the concept behind 'exquisite corpse' is based off of a poetry game where multiple artists collab but the rule is they're only given the last sentence or two of the person who went before them, like a sophisticated game of telephone lol)
I promise you, I'll bet you $50, you'll need a new can of lighter fluid after checking out Exquisite Corpse from your socks being blown off so many times throughout.
Strongly advise you go to No Flex Zone ft. Karmin after that, then look into: Strong As an Oak, All You Can Do, Difference is the Differences, A New Kind of Sexy (ft. Dumbfoundead & Intuition), Moral of the Story, Tear The Roof Off (with Bleed N Eso), Godzilla Challenge, 4AM Coming Home, Welcome to the Family, Energy, 10 Fingers, and the last one is actually one of his old slam poetry genius creations: S is for Lisp.

watsky is such a phenomenal rapper. my all time favorite artist, I'd be hyped to see you react to more of his stuff. sloppy seconds, p much any song from his all you can do album, who's been loving you, I know you're a history buff so you'd probably like Hercules by him. the x infinity album is on another level !!!! his music has gotten more great with time.

It's like a visual hit on the syllables and it actually makes it easier for me at least to hear what he's saying accurately. It's sort of like the dot on the words at the bottom of the screen for kids sing alongs.

@knoxhill The plain white T was because he was raised in SF and the plain white T is the obvious E-40 reference. Also the screen jumps match the beat. So much going on. But awesome. Hope you do more watsky videos. Also the fire is his need of the spotlight. Hot hot hot light....

Yo Knox, this is one of my favorite Watsky songs ever. I heard the Maclemore similarity too, and it really made me think of the song Can't Hold Us. If you wanna persue the similarity, that'd be the song to check out.

So the “I jumped the freeway median; I’m savage” is also a reference to Macho Man Randy Savage, who died from suffering a heart attack while driving and veered into the median. So there’s an extra meaning, he’s saying he’s savage in but also is being literal.
