The two funniest things about this video? The fact that they are smoking throughout the song. And the idea of going to a sushi restaurant, then going to the toilet to eat different sushi through a hole in the wall.
I love that the song is their presentation and they knew how people would react so a huge part of the lyrics are "where you're going, don't leave, hears out"
the funniest part comes at the end - the idea that in the bathroom of a separate sushi restuarant there would be an SGH you could go to instead. incredibly understated bit
Heard a reference to this on Stuff They Don’t Want You To Know. They used the line “Hey where you going, hear us out.” and so I had to search for it. Bloody brilliant!
I try to imagine the whole business and picture a worker sitting in a bathroom stall all day with raw fish waiting to serve someone. Are they making the sushi in the bathroom or is it premade, but less fresh. For that quality I feel they need to make it in the bathroom so it is fresher and have the bathroom air all over it. Song keeps getting better the more you think about it.
They have to make it at a centralized location to keep costs in check while maintaining high quality. How much do you think each piece of sushi costs on the app? I’d say $15-20

@@ZRZK2127 They just listened to a shitload of 90s rap. In the 90s.
I like this song because it's relatable. There are times when I want to eat sushi but there's no sushi glory hole in the bathroom. Thank you for this. I hope everyone hears you out.
The feverish energy at 1:36 running past the bouncer and into the stall is so damn good
Babe wake up, new Lonely Island just dropped
Babe, wake up I need sushi and I need you to drive me to the nearest SGH.
Babe, wake up. Some unoriginal bastard just reused that same meme for the 37,000,000th time.
JORMA BETTER BE IN CORMA, to drop a new hot one without him. Did he freal Conor freal not make it to the shoot
My words exactly as I saw this
@@clicheguevara5282 I have only seen it used in a funny way one time in the comments on a Horrorbabble video
Andy with the Big Pun flow right there. Iykyk. Happy to see the boys back again.
Little did we know that we're in the lavatory literally nibbling nigiri
thanks Irys, wouldnt know they release a new song otherwise :D
"You know I'm foolin with yuzu where you would usually doodoo, and if you got fund approval, you're who we're tryin to get through to."
That's fucking genius
Definitely a Big Pun flow.
@@QuickQuips Puns and rhymes are different things.
@@maxducoudray Aw you sweet summer child, you don't know who Big Pun is but comment so confidently 😂🤣
@@CalamityCannon It's not summer, it's autumn already.
... Oh crap, now I did it too.
@@maxducoudrayyou missed a cultural reference..
I guess Jorma couldn’t pull himself away from the Finnish saunas to participate 😫
Stay away from the sauna because they’re full of piranha.
Who do you think is making and feeding all those high quality nigiri?
he likes löyly more than sushi 😔
@@amvlourenco I mean, it could go either way since "jorma" is slang for "penis" in Finnish.
The Swedish word Gorma rhymes with Jorma. Gorma is a synonym for yelling or shouting.
“That’s two stalls over, so you’re, gonna wanna make sure ya come in sober”
He really sliding on that beat
That 'hear me out' part is gonna trend on tiktok 100%
Omg you’re so right
Hope not
All this time, I was eating omakase in public like a fool 😢😢
NOOOOO!!!!
That's just embarrassing.
The facial expressions when he says "imagine that" are amazing 0:30 they're like, "yeah. we're geniuses, and you guys should feel both dumb for not thinking of this and awed by the fact that we did."
Yes! Andy's mouth: 😐
I don't know why, but the gesture Kiv makes at 0:34 is perfect. Incredible return from The Lonely Island.
I've been watching some old The Lonely Island videos recently and when this showed up on my recommendations I was like: "weird, I don't remember seeing this one before", only to be surprised to know it just came out. It's good to have you guys back! :)
Thank you IRyS, very cool
Every time I start up this video I feel a rush of excitement. DON'T LEAVE. HEAR US OUT. Another triumph!
The two funniest things about this video? The fact that they are smoking throughout the song.
And the idea of going to a sushi restaurant, then going to the toilet to eat different sushi through a hole in the wall.
That was a choice, man, let's see what sticks/everyone else in the present, we're from 1986.
I'll never stop loving these dudes
Heard a reference to this on Stuff They Don’t Want You To Know. They used the line “Hey where you going, hear us out.” and so I had to search for it. Bloody brilliant!
I've been listening to this song dozens of times these past couple of days
I try to imagine the whole business and picture a worker sitting in a bathroom stall all day with raw fish waiting to serve someone. Are they making the sushi in the bathroom or is it premade, but less fresh. For that quality I feel they need to make it in the bathroom so it is fresher and have the bathroom air all over it. Song keeps getting better the more you think about it.
They have to make it at a centralized location to keep costs in check while maintaining high quality. How much do you think each piece of sushi costs on the app? I’d say $15-20
This has no place being this good.
"No gimmicky rolls, just straight nigiri."
I'm sold.

“That’s two stalls over so you’re gonna wanna make sure you come in sober”
MMMM THATS GOOD SHT RIGHT THERE 👌👌👌
They done did Mikey Day a disservice
well I mean he did say ... None of them are labeled so full disclosure. There are chances you're gonna get a dick.
Each time I watch,it has to be twice, once to watch Andy then again for Akiva
The flavour that you’re getting outweighs the risk 😂
Thanks YabaiRyS, for this discovery, truly a YabaiRyS moment
Myrpoli yabzdirizz moment
Unrelated: Yesterday I watched "Lee" and every time I saw Andy this was playing on my mind.
The duality of a MAN.
Icon.
I can’t BELIEVE I have to wait an entire week to hear ANYTHING about this on the podcast
