    Great tips for quick release paracord and taped pegs. Another crackin video, Andy. As usual you jam a lot into a short video. Perfect, pal..

    The basha set up between the two trees is upside down with seams and webbing facing the weather. The second set up, on the ground, was shown the right way up.
    Bear in mind that if you use this upside down, the webbing and hems will become saturated with rain water and take forever to dry out, as well as adding weight, and creating a damp environment if you were to carry it back inside your bergen. Using the basha the right way up, with the silicone seam up, facing the rain, and the webbing face down, will prevent this.
    Look at how the hems are constructed, folded under with the webbing is sewn to this underside.
    I've seen several videos where people have erected British Army bashas upside down, and there's no sense to it. You'll be surprised at how much water can collect and become trapped in the hems and soak into the webbing with it facing the wrong way up, towards the rain.
    Remember: silicone-side up, webbing down, saves on weight, as your basha won't drown.

    Hope this helps. xx ❤

    Top pocket on my Bergen lid>Wet jacket>ridgeline>tarp, I'm putting some jungle knots on the tarp to simplify and speed up but first measure is get me dry, few seconds to sort the jacket then a fast tarp should be the ticket when the weather turns 👍

      Hi there, Thanks for the comment! I used Sniper Tape on the pegs! But you could just use cotton tape! Andy 🤟

      Hi Andy forgot to ask I’ve bought new short back and had straps and back pad done at dixies I’m 6ft but I find the hip pad comes over my ribs and don’t feel right is that normal can’t fit it between hips and ribs, any tips or am I best not using belt cus feels ok without but not sure over distance yet, first try tmro?

      @@Nofixedabode859 So being 6ft I would go for a Long Back! I'm 5.11 ft and use a LB and the strap fits nicely in between! You'll need the waist strap if you're Running to stop the bounce!
      Sorry not much help to you!

      @@Wildernesswarriorbushcraft no that’s good I watched nicks video on his pack and prefers short back and noticed his belt sits high so thought it might work, mines just for tabbing/bushcraft so better just get used to it and try with and without belt

    Ah mate I needed a much closer view to understand what you were doing with the knots and cord. Couldn't even see if you'd done a continuous ridge line or not

    What size paracord do you recommend for this

    • @Wildernesswarriorbushcraft
      @Wildernesswarriorbushcraft  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there, Any Paracord will work! But 550 Paracord will probably be the strongest option!
