Great video! Only other thing I did was test it before I put covers back on steering column. Found out my new relay wasn’t good and I needed to replace fuse under the hood. Then all worked.

My jeep has a hard top and is kept in a garage so never have a problem with moisture in it, Wife has a soft top and when outside it gets moisture but never an issue. You could try sealing the next one before install but that works both ways.
Do you know what the function of the white plastic tab that is spring loaded on the bottom left of this part. Looks like it fits over the column or up against it. I replaced mine, but the turn signals, nor the hazard lights work. Has a new flasher relay, so its not that.

I think it resets the turn signals
Mine lasted 3 years- then failed again….
Mine is still working but the design is failure prone.
What's the torque size?
I think is was 25 or 20 or 15 I did this a year ago but it is easy access Steve
