Awesome video. The 3/8" drive metric nut grips are fast becoming my go to sockets...they are super handy. Get yourself a 3/8" spinner handle with the wobble (long or short handle, same handles as the panel tools) and throw a nut grip socket on it for the ultimate nut/bolt driver. I also just got the 3/8" to 1/4" 75mm Zeal extension/adapter which is really cool. Sorry to hear, about your friend.
Just lost my dad june of last year I'm thinking weekend of or before father's day, and my momma's mom my granny in November., so yeah between that about 6 years ago now starting with my best friend passing away from a single car accident and then my younger brother 2 years after that also from a single car accident..yeah i get how you feel my condolences sir.
Hey man, my condolences to you brother for your loss of your best friend. I have lost alot of people throughout my life. It's part of life like you said. But its the hardest part of life in my humble opinion. Keep up the great tool reviews!!!
Sounds good Sir. Keep on truckin!!! I lost a great friend about 20yrs ago. He always used to say "You make you're own luck in Life." Man I miss him...RIP CD Kirk...
great! i’ve only broken a wheel nut socket, but that’s to be expected with thin wall sockets and daily use. especially only working on toyota/lexus, majority have the same lug nut size
@@TxToolGuyNice! Yeah, definitely to be expected. Those things always break. Have you really brought the beans down on the sockets and ratchets? Or have you been cautious with them?
@ i crank down on those mfs. i use them as my everyday tools and use them like any flat rate tech would. obviously im not gonna take a 1/4” to a 3/8” territory but my 3/8” ratchet has broken some pretty stubborn fasteners loose
I’m not a tech by trade but I do work on cars as a hobby. I want it all. But dang their website! You can get lost easy clicking add cart add cart add cart lol
Now Koken has quick release ratchets. I could spend the $32 for the complete repair kit. And convert my ratchets to quick release. Or buy more ratchets. I like the mat chrome too. It makes tools easier to handle. And Koken has kind of a textured finish. Not like WiHa screwdrivers. Theirs is a mat chrome. But it’s smooth. People defend their Mac/SnapOn/Cornwell tools. Until they try Koken. It ain’t that the tool trucks are overpriced. It’s expensive to provide that service. That and the no questions asked warranty. I don’t want to pay for someone who abuses their tools! And I can get tools from Amazon Japan quicker than the tool truck shows up. It looks like SEMA is how tools will be marketed. And videos like yours. Great video. Concise, precise and honest. You made the tools the focus of the video.
I'm very sorry for your loss, I truly understand how difficult it is to lose people near the holidays. Glad you're back. Happy Holidays...Your extended BoobTube family here understands when you get busy but we do impatiently hope for new content. Least I do. Hope new business is going well. In certain areas, the industry is starting to hurt a bit.
appreciate it, man! the new shop is going great, we’ve been busy. just juggling that, life, and running a youtube and instagram page lol. but i’ll probably be doing videos once a month in all honesty just until life slows down a bit
Love the videos dude, keep up the great work. I don’t mind the wait ! I hope others don’t either Take time and take care of yourself, happy holidays bro , I hate this time of year too 😂
I'm aorry for your loss man. Could you comare the koken ratchets to your other ratchets? Only 5jing keeping me from a koken ratchet is the lack of a locking flex gead
appreciate it. and yeah i can do that, i thought i had a ratchet video but i don’t remember lol. but in my opinion, i don’t ever use the locking feature on my matco ratchets
@@TxToolGuy funny enough I used a duralast ratchet at home the other day which has detents for the flex mechanism. 8 actually prefer it to the matco locking flex. I'm tempted to get that style from snap on
I’m slowly adding more and more koken to my box…. Just ordered the 3/8 8-19mm nut grip set, which I think they recently launched the extended set. Tell them a customer(me) would like the 3/8 Z ratchet offered in a length between the standard and long!
Man sorry for your loss. I’ll be going to SEMA next year. The Koken 3/8 stubby ratchet is so useful
man it’s all good, it’s life. but i appreciate it. I will be at SEMA again next year 🤘🏻

The small 3/8 drive ratchet that you said is 36 tooth.
I can't find it anywhere. Got a link by chance,
hey man, really sorry for you’re loss, you really seem like a genuine guy and have a lot of people here for you buddy
appreciate it man. i try to be an honest genuine person so i appreciate that comment as well. 🤝🏻
Love how the Attack Driver has a direction indicator. All the other brands I’ve used at least never have that.
Sorry for your loss stay strong God is with you
appreciate it man
Alternatives to the vaper sprayer?

Awesome collection, I can wait to get my first Koken tools
I love those Ko-ken socket spinners - so handy. And the ratchets are super smooth.
2:10 that knurling would be really nice to have.
it’s great for starting fasteners
My condolences, brother. Cool video.
appreciate it, man. 🤘🏻
My deepest condolences for your loss. May God give you comfort during this time.
appreciate it man 🤘🏻
This is why alot of people are switching from snap on or mac or Cornwell sockets to koken affordable very well made tools

thanks, homie 😎🤝🏻
Sorry for asking, does the Z-series socket have the same non-wobbling quality when used with ratchets from other brands?

You missed my favorite: KOKEN Wheel Nut Sockets Set (14201M 3Pcs)
Part number for semi deep socket? Can’t find it on website
RS14301X/10
love me some koken
Between the Z series 72, 3/8 ratchet and the 3/8 in 1/4 body which one would you recommend
that’s a tough one! depends on your application really. i don’t use 3/8 in 1/4 body too often so i got the long flex head 3/8 first
@@TxToolGuy I have the long flex head 3/8 but looking for something with a smaller body so I don’t apply too much torque.
I'm aorry for your loss man.

damn man i just lost my child hood best friend on thanksgiving. keep your head up bro.!
sorry for your loss as well man! mine was also my childhood best friend. 27 years strong
Is SEMA open to the public?
only on the last day of the show. i was in a booth this year
Unlike their tools, they have the crapiest website.
when is the last time you searched it? i know they redid the website a little bit ago.
@TxToolGuy i tried to buy some tools for the black friday deals, and it is all goofy.
I just made a purchase from them and didn’t have any issues navigating the KokenUSA site 🤷
I’m slowly adding more and more koken to my box…. Just ordered the 3/8 8-19mm nut grip set, which I think they recently launched the extended set.
