I was in the Bobcat and it was pure slush underneath the snow. Very heavy packed muck!

Will the Rammy work on a gravel driveway?

WD-40 works great. Even if it’s already wet. WD stands for Water Displacement. Give it a try. Spray your shovels before use as well.

I have the same problem with my Rammy. It works best with 3 to 6 inches of powered snow. Any compacted snow or slush the shoot will get blocked.

I have not tested, but I am wondering if a silicone or WD40 spray prior to use during the wet snows would help with discharge/clogging

Do you have the smaller engine on your Rammy?

I've owned a Bercomac and tested the Rammy in various conditions. To be frank, the Rammy is a bit of a toy because of the one stage design. The Bercomac is a better snow blower concept, but the quality isn't great. The Rammy is well built but held back back by an overly simple design with regards to several key features, for example the operator controls. Some small adjustments to the overall design and designing it as a two-stage would make the Rammy a killer ATV blower.

They are functional, but I can definitely agree that at a certain point, there is a limitation on the Rammy. I guess the same goes for any piece of equipment for a given price point. Hopefully, they can continue to develop and expand their product line while maintaining the same level of quality.

Yeah most snow blowers are like that with slush they clog up very badly

On the Rammy, you can slow your speed a little bit and get by, but definitely not ideal conditions....for anything:)

I bought the same thing two years ago and this happened to me one hour on the machine and I sold it. I bought a brand new John Deere tractor.

There are always bigger and better tools for the job, but for someone trying to squeeze more value out of their UTV and kill 2 birds with one stone, these are still an effective option, they just require some finesse depending on the conditions

@Hank McArthur yes....as with a plow it is best to build up a base, but there are skid shoes to adjust how high the leading edge is off the ground
