Depends on the Defending Style you’re using.
Bro after last 4 mb update, my defending went shit... Switching in every part like on striking to defending is always lagging or a bit late or switches to other one which i dont wanted to... What i should do??? Help me on this plzz

Btw if you hold Pressure and swipe it to left or right is it also Match up cuz it shows the same circle as Match up and it also does the same thing
Holding sideways does matchup.
Holding downward calls GK for Pressure.
Holding upward calls for a Double Pressure..

Just go to match history, tap on the match scoreline with him, and report.
And just for the info, there are no laggers in the game.

Double build up centerbacks in quick counter are op. Try Van Dijk and De Ligt combo. Always choose a: Taller CB, High Jump rating, Defending skills such as blocking, man marking, etc., Physical skills such as Heading, acrobatic clearance, aerial superiority, etc. But at the end of the day, it all comes up to you- On how good you defend and how excellent you time your interceptions. That's all I hope this would help you for your squad building.

Switching the arrow to your teamate its the key especially if we are doing it the rigth moment. But sometimes by pressing once thr l1 the arrow doesnt go to the right player. So we need to oress it again, and losing time which is critical. Why does it happen (i mean the switching thing and the wrong player selected)? Thanks again for all your info

Well, sometimes game is not on your side, because opponent's passes go through, although they should not or, for example, opponent's forward catches the ball faster, while in a real situation he would never have time to overtake your defender
