@@ianarchibald1423 The team never won anything in Kelly Green. I don't understand the nostalgia for a time when Philly was the doormat of the league. All the success came in midnight green. I guess a retro game here and there in Kelly green wouldn't be bad. folks are just fanatical about it.
@@dragonlips2005 I agree. Then again, nostalgia is a common trait with people especially as they age. I like the midnight green, though sometimes I wish they would make the wing logo less cartoon-like.
@@dragonlips2005 several HOF wore Kelly green. Even though they didn't win it all the eagles of 88-90 could compete with any teams in the NFL and they brought the eagles back from obscurity.
The Cowboys beat the eagles three times in 1995 and 2009 if you count the playoffs, this matchup to me is known as the left sideline game, there were pick sixes down the left sideline during this time span.
Actually, this was the year that the Cowboys went 4th and 1 , twice and didn’t make it. Cowboys did destroy the Eagles twice , but Switzer was arrogant and lost the game in Philly.
When the Browns pulled out of Cleveland, it was the end of blue collar football. I don’t even know what it is anymore. They barely even wear pads today…

Well watch this and appreciate it. Why are you talking like this level of Domination is easy to do? Happens all the time? Not easy to do and was a great, rare time,. Then.
Even during the years , they were good still , don’t have a good return special team, don’t have a good offense running game, struggled with running first down game , don’t have a good offensive game , very poor planning game. I should be careful...im 55 and I'm calling THEM geriatric lol
Tell me what credit I should give Barry , again? He didn't have then prepared for 2 seasons. Every single player on the team was already there. We know Jerry was GM, and he controlled everything. I like Switzer, but he MIGHT deserve .01% of the credit. They lost several winnable games during his era, including the '94 NFC Title game. They got lucky to beat the Steelers in the '95 SB. Jones deserves 1.99% of the credit. The assistant coaches 18%. The players deserve 50%, and Jimmy the other 30%. Herschel should get 3 rings, just for his trade value. Free agency ruined the game, along with the newer rules and the woke agenda. I never watch the NFL, anymore.
Eagles were a bit of an unknown at that point. Ray Rhodes was in his first year, and there weren’t many notable players aside from Ricky Watters. They showed that night they weren’t quite ready for prime time and were intimidated by the Cowboys, but it ended up being a turning point in their season in a positive way
@@rover7139 not really since a lot of other teams have been winning for the last 25+ years. Ever since the salary cap and free agency came in. It just took a couple years to go into effect. I mean since Dallas won their last one in 1995 - Green Bay - 2 (4 total) Denver - 3 Rams - 2 Ravens - 2 Patriots - 6 Bucs - 2 Steelers - 2 (6 total) Colts - 1 (2 total) Giants - 2 (4 total) Saints - 1 Seahawks - 1 Eagles - 1 Chiefs - 1 (2 total) There is all your SB winners since the SC/FA came in and Dallas won their last one in 1995. Only the 49ers stand out with Dallas with 5 and they haven't won the SB basically in as long as Dallas. Beyond the Patriots and Denver every other winning team has won only 1 or 2 Super Bowls. So it's really spread out more than people realize if you've had only 2 teams win more than 2 Super Bowls in 27 years. Js
@@rover7139 also going along with my comment above, there's not been a back to back Super Bowl Champion since the 2003-2004 Patriots either. Going on 18 years there too. Almost 2 decades. In the last 22 years the game has surely changed.
@@keithlambert2251 you can't just dismiss 25 years of super bowl era to make a point.. that doesn't make sense .. what about Green Bay in the '60s the Steelers in the 70s the niners in the '80s.. you going to take their super bowls away to to prove your point... What about the Yankees in baseball you going to dismiss all their championships too because baseball has changed.. what about the Lakers and Boston that won all the championships in the 60s 70s and 80s... That don't count either because basketball has changed? SMH
@@rover7139 I didn't dismiss or take away any other teams Super Bowls. If you notice in parentheses is Green Bay, The Steelers, The Giants, etc, I put the total wins. I'm saying in the 27 years since Dallas last won their Super Bowl in 95, other various teams have been winning. It's more spread out now. Which is what the league wanted with the salary cap and free agency. And in my comment to prove this is the fact that only 2 teams have won 3 Super Bowls or more in this 27 year period (Patriots and Broncos) and there's been no back to back champion since the 2003-2004 Patriots. I didn't dismiss anything, you just are not understanding what I'm meaning. Dallas is still tied with SF in 2nd place bc other teams are winning and those teams mostly only have 1 or 2 championships total. So bc none of them have 5 yet to tie Dallas and SF, naturally they're both still ranked in 2nd place with the Steelers and Patriots tied for 1st with 6 each.

When are they coming back? I love those Eagles unis!
Cowboys will never have another coach like Jimmy Johnson
@@jamiejohnson4524 Yes more than the Patriots
Also I know nare newton had his troubles also Erik Williams but u could argue the cowboys had nine hall of farmers on this team
I remember this
22:30 bobby Taylor first int in the NFL
Longview,Tx👍
@14:32 what a block by Moose Johnston.
How is Darren Woodson not in canton
15:44 Emmitt waves bye.
When the Browns pulled out of Cleveland, it was the end of blue collar football. I don’t even know what it is anymore. They barely even wear pads today…
強すぎるダラスが無茶苦茶、格好いい。
And u know what I loved about Michael...he could have 2 catches for 22 yds and as long as Emmitt got his or Harper or AMYBODY on that team won that ballgame Irvin was happy!!!! He would hug the players ( til the life was squeezed out of them ) lol...Emmitt gets a TD he would tackle Emmitt!!! Didn't matter who it was. How many diva wide receivers sit at the end of the bench and act like bitches who are butt hurt " I....I didn't get the ball but their TEAM WON JACK ASS!!!! Whether u liked Irvin or not he was an EXCELLENT teammate.....

Remember when the cowboys actually dominated…
Yeah I was 7 years old…
I’m now 33 💤
I had a vcr
Well watch this and appreciate it.
Why are you talking like this level of Domination is easy to do? Happens all the time? Not easy to do and was a great, rare time,. Then.
Now I know why the commissioner of the NFL hated the cowboys
The commissioner is just a spokesman for the owners.
1:21:45 4th and a foot
Even during the years , they were good still , don’t have a good return special team, don’t have a good offense running game, struggled with running first down game , don’t have a good offensive game , very poor planning game. Until jimmy Johnson , if Mr Jone still interferes with the coaching staff , is not going anywhere ,
At 24:02 they keep flapping their false teeth at how " what a great int by McMillan.....even your worst nightmare as an 8th grade teacher Dierdoff ( couldn't stand him) oh what a job by McMillan to HOLD Irvins arm down...what no interference Danny no personality Dierdoff!!?? It was AIKMANS fault for throwing a horrible to the left ball. If Aikmam throws a few more inches to the right ...Irvin TD...THAT WAS ON AIKMAN and not one word from that geriatric crew...amazing. I should be careful...im 55 and I'm calling THEM geriatric lol
Makes me sick seeing Switzer on the sideline.
Should have played Cunningham
Damn nothing to say about Philly in the intro.
Eagles were a bit of an unknown at that point. Ray Rhodes was in his first year, and there weren’t many notable players aside from Ricky Watters. They showed that night they weren’t quite ready for prime time and were intimidated by the Cowboys, but it ended up being a turning point in their season in a positive way
Eagles got the ugliest uniforms in the league still with the makeover 😂
Rum
Dallas hasn't been to the SB since
Somehow they are still tied for the 2nd most super bowls won... Ridiculous.
@@rover7139 not really since a lot of other teams have been winning for the last 25+ years. Ever since the salary cap and free agency came in. It just took a couple years to go into effect. I mean since Dallas won their last one in 1995 -
Green Bay - 2 (4 total)
Denver - 3
Rams - 2
Ravens - 2
Patriots - 6
Bucs - 2
Steelers - 2 (6 total)
Colts - 1 (2 total)
Giants - 2 (4 total)
Saints - 1
Seahawks - 1
Eagles - 1
Chiefs - 1 (2 total)
There is all your SB winners since the SC/FA came in and Dallas won their last one in 1995.
Those were great Dallas teams but Fly Eagles Fly! F Dallas
