Bob was so good he could make a one night stand sound romantic as hell! LOL I truly don't think there is such a thing as a bad Bob Seger song. I'd suggest Night Moves, Main Street, Turn the Page. Love your holiday hair! Merry Christmas to you and your family, India. Oh, I also really like your new endings to your video and the white lights on your wall look really nice :)
Bob Seger is a master storyteller, and one of the very best in rock n roll history..From Against The Wind and Night Moves, to Like A Rock and Roll Me Away, just to name a few....He immaculately, and with great care, sets the table for the listener...All that's left for us to do is enjoy the feast....
just love you and wanted to have you know it! I have been enjoying your reactions for about 6 months now, maybe. It cracks me up that you seem to need to discuss the meanings of the songs you review. I'm sure that if you ever listened to or reacted to YES, it would be quite entertaining. With that band, it's a journey that is almost anew each time you hear a song, or the same song 100 times. Like a book you read again, and again always making you pick up on more things than the last time. Just saw a couple more reactions tonight (Carlee Simon's marry me and a repeat for Roberta Flack - killing me softly) and VIOLA! I love you all over again! You have a whole lot of subscribers - count me as one - so I know people like me are a dime a dozen, and just too many of us to reply to. So that's okay! It's just that when you see good people out there that impress you (or me, in this case) it would be wrong to NOT let you know. I'm glad you do these Reactions. :)
my uncle was his production manager for the tour from 2011-2013, had he privilege of being first row and back sage. incredible show. what a man. THAT SAX
Everything that Bob Seger does is great, but this one has always been my favorite. Great reaction.( You look so pretty and festive in you Christmas hair!!)
I saw Seger live in the 70s. He was my sisters favorite so I surprised her with tickets. I did the same thing 2 years ago. We live together now and she loves Def Leppard so I bought front row seats for us. I've been to 56 concerts and 3 were in the last two years.
I always took this song to be that he has had some kind of relationship already with the woman he's singing to... whether a one-night-stand or a longer relationship and she's decided that she wants to move on ("I know your plans don't include me"). It's late and they are both tired and he's begging her to stay one more night. I've always found this song to be so sad, and Seger sings it with such weary soulfulness. Some years later the song was done as a duet by Kenny Rogers and Sheena Easton, and while both singers have/had great talents, the song lost something in translation from the lonely soul of Bob Seger's version (even live, he sounds lonely and weary singing this song with such soul). Anyway, another great reaction India. I totally love your vibe. There are a lot of great Bob Seger songs... I believe you've already done "Turn the Page." He has had several hits that others may already have asked for. Some off-the-beaten path stuff of his that I love: Come to Poppa - Many years ago, I found myself in an... ahem adult entertainment club with exotic dancers, one of who danced to this song, and I will always hear it that way. Nevertheless, it's a great groove song. Ramblin' Gamblin' Man - an old (1969) song of his that's very short, but an awesome song.
I have seen him do this live many times over the years. It always makes me cry. His emotion you can feel it. He did his last tour a couple of years ago I still cry to this day
I remember when Kenny Rogers came out with a version of this song that was very popular on the radio at the time. I ALWAYS felt the original Seeger version was so much better. Much more heartfelt and beautiful from Seeger.
I’m honored to be a new subscriber. That your viewer can see your emotion is honesty that you don’t see often. One of his more rare ones is “Even Now” on “The Distance”. Tons of feeling in it. Thank you!
Bob Seger's long time friend and saxophonist, Alto Reed, died of colon cancer just a couple of days ago. He can be seen in the video near the end playing the flute like instrument. Like Seger, he's a Detroit legend.
Funny that I came on here and seeing this. My mama came over for dinner this evening and she had her Bob Seger t-shirt on that I brought her for her birthday. I grew up on his music. Mama LOVED his music (still does). We were poor and we didn’t have much. We had an old radio that was in the living room. She would tune in to a station & blast the music. If Bob Seger, Smokey Robinson, Willie Nelson or any other artist she loved came on, we knew she was going to sing & dance. She was surprised to open up one of her gifts from me today to find a Willie Nelson t-shirt.
Back in the day there was an annual hash bash in Ann Arbor... one of the bands and partyers was Seger and the silver bullet band.. the hash then was always top shelf..
Great song and great singer. His version came out in the 70s. I like both versions, but I am one of the very very very very very few people that like Bob Seger's version more. Thanks.
First off, happy and safe holidays for u and your family. Its always a big pleasure for me to see your reactions. Secondly there is no such thing as a weak or bad Bob Seger song. He can do every genre of music well. You could spend a month listening to all if his works and not find a bad effort
I can't describe how happy you made me watching you react to the first time hearing a song that I grew up with. Something very joyous in seeing a new generation experience this incredible music for the first time. Thank you for listening to it, your sincere reaction and a beautiful description of your thoughts on it as well.
You should do a Bob Seger playlist. He is my fave ever. There isn't a song you won't like.I would like to have you play songs you haven't heard.I love your reactions and tears
I can't remember where that show was at but I'm pretty sure it's when my dad went to and he said that that was the best he had ever heard Bob seger in his entire life, sounds like he does on album perfect 🤩
He was great in concert!!! I feel so sorry for the young kids who didn't have this great music . Thank God someone saved this for y'all. You need to listen to the studio version too.
I wish I could've seen him back then. Although I've seen him twice after his at least decade break of doung anything. He sounds as good now as he did before. I've heard live stuff of his from that time.
Good grief...a one night stand with Bob Seger...I would probably hate myself in the morning....But I would always have the memories...(sheepish smile).LOL
Thanks ! Loved your reaction ! You always make me smile ! Try Bob's "Turn the Page" please ! One of my favorites ! I think you'll love it ! Wait, I just realized you haven't reacted to Bob's "Against the Wind" either ? This one's a classic !!! But I guess many of his songs are reaching the "classic" stage !!😍🙋🏻♀️🌹
This was his mother’s favorite song. Since her passing, he has played this song at every live show he plays, in her memory. Happy holidays!!
That is not exactly true. I saw him last October in Boston and he did not play this song.
Bob is one of my favorites for a VERY GOOD REASON!
Cry every time I hear this. Beautiful song.
Same here and I'm a guy.
I’ve simply never heard anything from Bob Seger that I didn’t like.
he literally couldnt make a bad song if he tried
He never made a bad song
I've seen him in concert a few times and he's my favorite live!
100% true
He's got a deep soul...Love his music.
Inducted into Rock and Roll HOF twice. Once for his song writing, once for his singing talent.
Bob was so good he could make a one night stand sound romantic as hell! LOL I truly don't think there is such a thing as a bad Bob Seger song. I'd suggest Night Moves, Main Street, Turn the Page. Bob Seger gets right through and touches your soul
A real heartbreaker of a song.
Anybody dumped by the girl they love on hearing this after the breakup will fold over in pain.
Everything that Bob Seger does is great, but this one has always been my favorite. Great reaction.( You look so pretty and festive in you Christmas hair!!)
Thank you means a lot to me
When a song like this only charts at 13 it say something about the quality of the music back then
Love Bod Seger!! Have you heard "Roll me away" or "Like a rock"
Never knew a Bod Seager? I know of Bob though.

My 29 year old twins can't get enough of this guy. Glad I raised them on "old" music.
