2013年6月16日（日）に、成田・航空科学博物館で上映した作品です。
成田空港とその周辺で撮影した旅客機のビデオ映像を、素敵な音楽にのせてお送りします。成田空港にはたくさんの航空会社が就航しています。この作品では、それらの紹介に加えて、さまざまな場所・時間帯で撮影した、普段なかなか目にすることのできない光景も合わせてご覧いただけます。

成田国際空港が開港したのは、今から遡ること僅か凡そ約４６年前の１９７８年５月２０日。同空港が開港した当時は、成田空港通称新東京国際空港でした！尚、同空港が開港した当時僕は小学２年生で大阪府池田市に住みました！

成田国際空港が開港した１９７８年は、東京都営地下鉄🚇新宿線＆東京メトロの前身帝都高速度交通営団地下鉄Ⓜ半蔵門線が開通し、其れから株式会社小田急電鉄が帝都高速度交通営団地下鉄Ⓜ千代田線との相互直通運転を開始した年でした！
成田国際空港の前身新東京国際空港通称成田空港が開港したのは、１９７８年５月２０日。当時僕は、小学２年生でした！

Gawd....I miss seeing those big red tails on the Northwest birds that made up the background of Narita for so many years. I first flew on Northwest Orient into Narita as a five year old little girl to visit my mother's family for the very first time. I knew at that time exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up and who I'd work for. NOTHING was going to stop me from working on those big beautiful birds!!! My mom's gone now and I've put away my wings. This beautiful made me remember why I wanted to be a Flight Attendant, how much I enjoyed those 10 day Narita-Seoul trips, and most importantly...all of those shared trips home with Mom. She's got her wings now.
Northwest Orient was my first flight out of Narita back in 1989. Had taken a Japan Air System (JAS) MD-80 from MSJ to HND and then the Northwest onto ORD. Flying into Japan was on a 747-200 from Flying Tigers. Now I fly ANA exclusively twice a year to that beautiful country.
Awsome production. I'm gonna be honest: I didn't understand what the narrator was saying,but the most important thing It was the amazing images. And also it was nice to find out all the airliners which fly to Narita. Thanks for sharing this production with us.

No problem. Just to add some more information and expand on it, the Boeing 777 is a long-haul aircraft and therefore will often have to travel long distances over water. It is then paramount that they have ETOPS. I believe the Boeing 777 just got approved for 330-minute ETOPS, nearly an hour longer than any previous ETOPS-rated aircraft.
