I just did a few videos on the same game. Your videos look much better. I started the campaign game where the British are being sieged in Boston; I would like to see how you would solve that.
Hey thanks for the kind words David. I'm enjoying watching your videos! Back decades ago when I played this regularly, we used to bunch up tons of counters around Boston. I'll be playing the campaign game in a few weeks and I'll try to set that puzzle up in it and see what solutions I can come up with.
Yeah, 1776 was the first wargame I ever played and so I got used to it and thought that was the norm. My 11 year old mind struggled with ZOCs after that.
ok My wife won! lol Question, when in combat is there a way to quickly round down the odds? Like is there a calculator online? (this is for the tabletop game not the vassel computer game)@@epicsexycrafttime7475
Another great video! I remember playing this back in the mid 1970s when it came out.
Thanks alot Mike I really appreciate all the support. Also enjoying watching your channel quite a bit- you've got some great content.
@@epicsexycrafttime7475, thanks!
Another fascinating game with an excellent history summary!
thank you very much!!!!!
Great game, and I have loved that map since the first day I saw it. :)
I know, I've always loved how colorful it is (kinda the opposite of a Redmond Simonsen map- which I also love)
Played this a few times many years ago, great game.
First wargame I ever played and still my favorite.
I have this now, need to play!
I don't think that you'll regret it. It's not hard to learn and it's got a good degree of depth to it.
I've always wanted to play this game
you oughta its a great one
Great vid, nice channel. Thanks for posting!
Thank you very much much, I really appreciate it. 1776 is a great game.
This classic shows up in one episode of Seinfeld at the cabin under the coffee table.
Oh wow, I never noticed that. I really like this game.
You can only move through your own units. You must stop when entering a hex with enemy units.
Yup, I think I didn't make that clear enough! Thanks.
It's a great game!
One of my favorites, can be played on a lot of different levels.

to make change, you need a revolution
😝
LOLOLOL but they have to WANT to change!
It's very strange attacking on the hex verses the more standard, attacking adjacent hexes. Still looks cool though.
