I played Jin in 7 and yeah he was hard to play and they may have simplified but you still need skill to pilot this character you can’t mash your way to god of destruction
@@boonieboonie568 learning by doing. Hop in some casual matches, identify the strings alot of people abuse and try to punish. If you can't do it while actively playing hop into the replay mode. If you got this routine down you can apply it with sidesteps too 👌🏻
I play on PS5 with controller. Find hitting electrics tough and the wavedash is slow as well. should I get a fightstick or leverless or stick with the controller?
KWiss also plays with a ps5 controller and you see him doing all those things quite proficiently. Those other options are probably easier but all will take practice regardless.
It’s all about practice…. Even Devilster uses a pad and his movement is crazy in Tekken, it’s not the controller that’s holding toy back even arcade stock is a learning curve before toy feel comfortable with it
Pads are the easiest way to play honestly, it's just that the ps5 controller specifically might be the worst popular controller for fighting games, get a ps4 or some other generic controller with similar dpad to that of the PlayStation controllers.
