Cackletta Soul was one of the hardest bosses to beat on my many attempts when I first played M&L: Superstar Saga. But that was in my younger days, yet still can be a little difficult

It's part of the intro, not the list itself.
For Antasma's nightmare shards attack, pay attention to his arms. When he tosses the swirling shards, he might use his arms to move the shards. Look at which arm he uses relative to you to see in which direction it goes. If left relative to you, then the shards move left. If right relative to you, then the shards will move right.) You have to enter the circle. If you're outside of it, you're guaranteed to get hit.
Once you're inside the shard's circle, wait until he crosses his arms in the background. Once he makes a double chopping motion after crossing them, that's your cue to jump.
I agree with nearly all entries, especially antasma X. It took me about 3 months to beat him, and i tried virtually every day. Damn, i hate my life.

Bruh just over level ur self and get some gear with a ton of defense and badges and that one badge that makes luigi more defensive when he picks up Mario’s dead corpse. He literally takes 0 damage from almost everything.
I’m trying to get the daredevil boots to try and beat bowser X easier but having to get gold metal on jump helmet to get the boots. Gives me cancer x10.

Yeah, I agree with Meta. SPM was a beautiful, wonderful game, but it's bosses weren't exactly difficult. The only boss I had trouble with was the rematch with Mimi in the Sammer Kingdom, but only because my health had already been whittled down by the Sammers.

I wanna say this. Dream Team was building up Bowser as much as Antasma. I figured out that bowser would betray instead of antasma when everyone was saying how he can’t do anything on his own anymore. So I was pleasantly surprised by Dreamy Bowser. Just food for thought

Awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed this one! Shadow Queen was definitely really hard. I remember trying for a couple of days to beat her, and getting so close and then dying. It was a pretty great day when I finally beat it. The one from Mario Party 7 was a struggle for me as well. One day I tried beating it again and beat it fairly quickly due to some high dice rolls. It was very satisfying. It goes both ways though.
Anyways keep up the great videos. Looking forward to the next one. :)
Haha yeah definitely will again someday. She really got in my head when I first played it I think was a big part of it. Things will be a lot different when I battle her again. Still one of my favorite parts of any Mario game is that battle and the events that follow it. :)

Antasma is extremely annoying your right. Honestly. I played through it and it's painful! But I love how hard it is and how dreams are used in it. It's sorta terrifying.

I jumped from Supertstar Saga to Dream Team, and, oh boy, Dream Team is not kidding with the difficulty. It started easy, but eventually, you'll be running into enemies that can hit you multiple times, hit you like a truck, or in rare instances, stun-lock you with status effects if you're not dodging the attacks, and said attacks are tricky to dodge. Thankfully, the normal (default) mode allow you to restart the battle right away if you are defeated. Yes, there's a hard mode, unlocked after beating the normal mode.
For me. Bowsers inside story to partners in time. And oh god. I have still not finished pit.

10:20 Just clearing the air here. Shiny RoboBowser has two separate HP meters: one for the Armour, and one for Bowser himself. The 650HP heal is replenishing the ARMOUR; any damage inflicted on Bowser himself is permanent. Bowser has 2145HP, while the Armour has 650 (you can get a rough estimate of how much it has left based on how much cardboard is still sticking to the Armour, because Alphadream never thought to program in HP bars for enemies (at least the bosses)), and once Bowser reaches ~1000HP (desperate/fury status inflicted), while he does do more damage, the Armour only heals for 476. Of course, while the Armour is active, flames are your best bet to destroy it quickly, as it counts as a paper enemy (CRIT), and you can whale the trio attacks once it's burned away (tip: don't even THINK about it beforehand, as he'll counter with an attack of his own)

Black Bowser I totally agree on. That guy is one tough bastard. It's hard to defend against his attacks and if you get hit too much (even if you somehow survive the onslaught of attacks) it's game over as Huey will faint. This is annoying and stupid

First time I fought Antasma x I was under level and got wrecked in 3 turns first time I fought Bowser x I was under level and still beat him
That's the exact opposite for me. Bowser X's attacks are way harder to dodge, he has more HP and Defense. Advice: Use Luiginary Fire for Antasma, it's a very under-rated but super powerful attack! it does way more than it looks!
Oh, I got FREAKING WRECKED by Bowser X (he did 200 something damage and 2-shot me), because I was lvl 40 and and it recommended me to be lvl 50 and I did great until I got to that stupid turtle brain. I severely underestimated him
Pro Gaming Yea you really should follow the recommendations before facing bowser X. Most of his moves take off almost all of your health. Antasma X and Bowser X are easily the two hardest Mario bosses ever made.
Bowser X is also the battle ring boss that has the most hp than any other battle ring boss in the series.

When I fought Bowser X I used some badges ( I forgot which ones) while I fought the other bosses, it made my next turn double so it made it so much easier

Another aspect that makes Antasma x harder is the fact that he (like the normal version of the fight) can DEVOUR dreamy Luigi if you’re not fast enough. He gets spit out eventually but it takes a while, and during that time Antasma x gets a major increase in power as apposed to eating a normal orb
Idk if people notice this, I’ll check this out later to confirm, but also if you get hit and go into the nightmare, YOU LOSE A TURN. IN THE ARENA WHERE TURNS COUNT. I still personally think bowser X is harder, but antasma x has given me runs for my money
Edit: I have confirmed going into the nightmare mode does count as your turn being skipped and lost

Cackletta soul made me quit the game when I was a kid. I was so mad that I didn't even want to look at the same direction of the cartridge. Months later I decided to give it another go and eventually I was able to defeat her. Damn, that feeling of triumph lasted for days

15:13 Something I would like to add for Culex is that in the remake, he's a little easier thanks to triple Move Combinations Shoutout to Spare-us-All which nulls all damage but breaks if you got hit. But in the Rematch, Culex gains a few more moves and a 3D Model. Culex has Meteor which leaves you and your party at 1 HP, Command Lock where Culex will lock one of your Commands (Mostly Attack, Special or Items) for a certain amount of turns and Final Claw after you destroy all the crystals, where Culex will slash you with his claws, Fail to time move perfectly and it's an instant kill. The Crystals themselves will buff Culex if you managed to take one of them out but if you take out Culex without taking out the Crystals, the Crystals will Revive Culex to Full health at the cost of the Crystals' Health.

Nintendo should have added in a feature where Bowser X inhales you and you have to fight another Mario and Luigi inside him. Man. That would definitely be the funniest boss I’d go up against if they did that.
Cackletta was a terrifying boss fight when I was younger. Not so much the character or the fight itself, but the very concept of Cackletta dying and coming back as a ghost thing with an exposed heart sticking out of her ghost torso. I had no idea there was a 3D rendition of Superstar Saga, and seeing this 3D Cackletta revived a small amount of that unease.

Cackletta Soul is no. 7 huh? I don't remember it being too hard. It was a fun challenge for me. Had to learn German, since the game didn't exist in Swedish(just like any game really), because I knew no english back then.

If you dont have a 1-Up, it can go from "satisfying boss fight" to "satisfying that it's finally f**king over" real quick.
HM6. Mummipokey (Mini Mushroom Run)
The 2006 way of feeling dead. Seriously, i havent beaten this boss as Mini Mario.
HM7. Piranha plant from Mario party DS
You know what? Scratch what i said about Mummipokey. If you're a little boy when playing this, this f**king plant will give you PTSD.

Why does everybody find fiery dino piranha so hard? It just requires patience and going a little more to the left or right to avoid the fire trail from his tail
Same with cackletta soul! Her attacks are not that hard to dodge! Plus you can heal right after! And if you have 120 speed or more you can attack first!

Do you know how to find the Lazy Shell weapon and armour? I put the armour on Princess Toadstool and the battle became almost disappointingly easy. It’s all about the equipment you bring into battle. I’m sure there are other pieces of armour/accessories that could help you on your way. Sorry I’m four months late. :)
