Lyrics:
There are so many things that have yet to kill me, but not you, because you cannot kill what you don’t understand. I am more than the ghost you left me. You don’t know me, and you never will. All these years and I’m doing just fine. You don’t know me, and you never will.
And if you’re even listening, and you thought you’d figured that you did all you can, yeah I fucking know it. This reflection hurts, and I’ve got the scars to show it. So take a good fucking look at me. I have compiled bone from the rubble you left me. So play it again and again until you’re clear. You’re not a man, you’re a fucking disgrace. No tears for when you die. You’re a failure. You’re less than nothing.
When I think about the child that I might have, how I could make real all the things that I am, not for one second could I see myself leaving. This is the only responsibility I could ever have. If I gave breath to another person, I couldn’t bear the thought of not guiding their hand through this life. For I know the feeling of absence, it weighs on my soul, it constricts me of air.
If I held my child in my arms, I would never, ever let go.

I cant believed I almost teared up to this... the dealing of my father leaving... having my step father physically abuse me all through my teenage years... ive learned to grow strong and that im not the only person that has been dealt those cards.. thank you Gravemind for touching a true subject that needs to be talked about...❤
Good on you for surviving that Justin. Thanks for sharing that with us, it means a lot.
You're a brave warrior sir
Welcome on the board, boys, we are all in this together.
Well said brother. 🤘🏿 these guys are really lovely blokes go a bunch of nerds ;p on a serious i know what you’re talking about, I struggle with it each and every day, even at times when I’m not thinking about it, has still had a large impact on my life and who I am today. You become stronger because of it and this song represents my childhood perfectly. Cheers
For a bunch of nerds *
This is absolutely phenomenal. Gravemind doesn’t have to stick to the typical deathcore mould to still be brutally heavy. I cannot wait to see these guys blow up.
Man the guitars in this one just rip like no other
This is powerful. A topic that isn't as explored as much as other tragedies in metal, especially in australia where domestic violence is such a problem. Well done boys 👏
Northlane's latest song 'Bloodline' is based on the same topic as well. Glad bands are putting this issue in the spot light.
A lot of bands are covering that topic. Make them suffer just put out a new song about it.
I'm confused as to how the lyrics relate to domestic abuse. The lyrics seem more about being a fatherless child like many people are today.
@@RELEVANT2KILL "this reflection hurts, and I've got the scars to show it" and the video sort of gives it away with what it's about
@@SpacedWhale The reflection could hurt because he sees his father every time he looks in the mirror and the scars could be emotional.I figured he mentioned guiding his child's hand because his father wasn't there to guide him.
it hits me so close, ive lived things like this, actual tears, so powerfull message, you have another fan guys
the guitar tone is so fucking T H I C C
Y’all know that feeling of excitement when ya find a new band worth digging into. Well I got my shovel now.
Thank you for this great song. I feel understood. I also grew up in hell where violence, screaming, and feeling lonely even as a child were the order of the day. My father didn't care about the family, my grandfather a sexually violent pedophile, and my mother a fragile and highly sensitive woman, my brother a choleric of death. I've felt lonely and alien since I was a child. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Just like Bloodline from Northlane, the message is clear, strong and fucking dark. Also just like Bloodline, this song is fucking amazing
Huge Make Them Suffer vibes
What song? So I could listen to it because I’ve really fallen in love with Gravemind
@@juliobonilla3104 it would be save yourself from mts (I know I’m a bit late haha)
Exactly what I thought when I first listened this song
no words.
Couldn't be anymore perfect, this absolutely slaps
I'm 92 years old. This shit is fucking proper good.
Well...thats woken me up... Banger🔥🔥😈
You guys are fucking amazing. The melody and the progression within this track is godly. Always bringing something fresh in the deathcore scene.
Full on, ripper song with a serious message. Well done boys
Doesn't matter how many times I hear it, this song still makes me cry. Powerful song.
HOT FUCKIN FIRE. Northlane Bloodline is fuckin rad and this is the next level of METAL GEAR SOLID banger.
*Feels af.*
Amazing bros
1:12 omg that drop!! Amazing
It's only a matter of time before these guys get big. Love this. Reminds me of Polaris in a good way.
Lol Polaris? God I hope not.
Thornhill too
Damn, Volgin is pretty good, but this... It's insane.
So stoked on for Gravemind!! love the mix on this tune too; instruments and vox are balanced perfectly imo, like some of the OG devil sold his soul stuff or something. nice when vocals aren't overshadowing the music once in a while👌👌
The up and coming. Go get them gravemind
Incredible!
There's a reason why you guys are my current favourite! Keep bringing the fire!
This is absolutely amazing. Cannot wait for the new album.
wow guys. wooooooooow. i got chills throughout like half the video.
This is the best song I’ve heard all year. Absolutely amazing.
Saw these guys supporting After The Burial and those guitars hit even harder than on record, the venue speakers could barely handle 3x 7-strings tuned super low.
Absolutely nuts guys.
I knew you since your BFG Division cover, great shit man!
Awesome....!!!! 🤟❤️🤟
I love this band!
Greetings from Sao Paulo, Brazil! \m/
Whhhhhoooooooo thhhhhheeeee fuuuuuuuuckkkkkkkkkkk......WHO ARE THESE GUYS!!!!????

Not much to say anymore other than you guys are massive, powerful song lads looking forward to seeing you guys take over the scene
End of the world sounding shit. I like it
stoked to see you boys in perth recently, tore it up, just like this banger
absolutely amazing. love it. thank you.
This is a wonderful track.
This song made me tear up the first time I heard it. The bridge still makes my throat stiff. “If I gave breath to another person….” Jeez this song is good. This needs more recognition
Make Them Suffer vibes... i like
Just waiting for July 19th... Can't come sooner. Song with such a powerful message, top work boys
Great track with tons of substance ..feels like a fresh take in a world that's constantly parroting ..can't get enough of this
I feel everything....
i'm glad to have a song like this, i'v spent all my life with my mom because of a man like this dude in the video, so far i'v come out on top because of her and i'm happy to have an awesome mom
This is soooooo good!
Just, fuck. This is very very good.
hellyeah this is 🔥
Really cool message
Relentless.

Brilliant.
This band is NUTS. This upcoming tour with Northlane is going to blow them UP. I found these guys through Northlane and I’m so happy I have some new jams to vibe with. HUGE fan already🤘🏻
Just watched you guys play this song live last night, it fucking slapped, definite new fan here and I'm catching up on every album
I can relate to being new to this band, def like alot
Absolute masterpiece, can't say enough good things about this band.
New Gravemindddd. Holy fck I'm late
I'm much more late, where have I been?
Holy fuck. That has got to be one of the nastiest breakdowns I've heard in a long time. What do these guys even tune their guitar to??
God damn, another good release from the metal capitol
this song is Beautiful
A masterpiece ♥
1:50 🖤
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely phenomenal \m/
I'm speechless. This is real music.
WTF?! I love this Band so much.....
Легендарный трек. Отличное звучание! Клип тоже хороший. Самое важное, что текст и посыл песни поднимает глобальную и важную проблему, на которую нужно обратить внимание. Спасибо "Gravemind"
Damn this is dope. Getting a little make them suffer and silent planet influences I love it .
They've really moved directions since some of the earlier material. It's a lot closer to current MTS now than where they started. Cool to hear them evolve their style so fast.
agreed, really sounds like MTS!!
"I have compiled bone from the rubble you left me." is a badass fucking line.
TOO.FUCKING.GOOD
Yesss gravey boys
This shit slaps so hard!!! 😭
Por Dios!! Que sonido tan profundo!!! 🔥🤘😱
Man that is some seriously powerful shit there
Sounds like Make Them Suffer
sounds better than Make Them Suffer
I was googling them to see where they were from because I was like "they sound like MTS"
>Australia
"What a fucking surprise.
Next song is gonna be called D-Horse
The clip is insane, like the song btw
Los polos hermanos que muchos los metalos
What's up el hermos de bastos del vatos locos el potos mon sauce
How has NO ONE mentioned the track names “Volgin” and “Phantom Pain” both come from Metal Gear Solid?
Weak.
And maybe Gravemind from Halo?
All bang on
I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING! Finally some Metal band referencing MG besides that crap song from Bring me the Horizon
Hahaha is true
@@ApexAhmad Shadow of Intent is a Halo based band
Phantom Pain could be a few things, so meh, disagree
Damn we love you!
Mauvais do more shows
Yup... 2019 is gonna be a very emotional* year for the Core world... AND I FUCKING LOVE IT! It's so great to see how deathcore evolved from a boring, edgy, simplistic genre to a full blown emotional, intense, technical/progressive, unstoppable monstrosity that speaks to every sentient being. So whenever you think, you're born into the wrong age, always remind you of all the awesome music and video games (DOOM Eternal!!!!!!) you're surrounded with ;D
*"Requiem" by AngelMaker and "Eternal KIngdoms, Part I" by Ingested come to my mind.
OOOF. Huge.
this fucking slaps
The vocalist has the same clean voice like falling in reverse vocalist
Every word of this song felt like some unconscious realization of my own feelings. Having a parent with a personality disorder ruins you, my heart goes out to anyone dealing with the memories of those nightmare encounters. No one deserves that, I’m sorry they tried to make you feel as pathetic as they did. These monsters hate everything that reminds them of themselves, even their own children. I’m sorry that they’re dead to you, but I promise nothing inside of you has died.
INSANE LADS!
This fucking album kills me.
Thanks Dad, your absence made me who you never could be. Godspeed, you absolute coward.
So fucking sick job well done gents!
It's worse when your children are taken and forced to have nothing to do with you.
Sorry, I’m late to this party, but I’m onboard now. Gaaadamn
This song fucking hurts. I wasn't ready if I'm being completely honest. I've only met my father twice but I was so damn young it barely counts as a memory. I'm always stuck wondering, why? Why wasn't I good enough? What could i as a child have done better so that he didn't leave?
This track is amazing!
Is it possible to get the drums only? or a midifile for the drums, would love to play to this drums !
Let's tour
