*I think they're technically a deathcore band. But what did you guys think about Gravemind?
First time I’m hearing of them and I dig it. I’m definitely going to check out more of their music
If you listen to songs like Death of Teyolia and the first EP they're definetly deathcore (though this does lean more towards metalcore). I think they did great here, was a little surprised to see them lose their original vocalist though.

You’re so on point man with the ‘generic’ statement. It’s kinda like saying a band who writes a thrash record is just ‘copying slayer’. It’s the year 2022 and we’ve got a heap of bands with the incredible access to get their music out there. Lots of it will sound the same, but you can pick out those you prefer.

i was pretty scared when they lost their last vocalist, but im glad that they're still going strong. They're one of the many bands that make me proud to be an aussie

I have to say, as someone who listened to their album Conduit all the way through and loved it, I was worried when you said there was a changeup in the vocals (I wasn't aware of this, Conduit was my intro to the band). The reason I that album so much is because the dude had such cool sounding screams...that being said, about 2 mins into this song I was laughing saying "this guy can hang!" and now I'm pumped to hear more from these guys

The chorus gives me Thornhill vibes
As someone who has been listening to the band since their first release, I was very scared about the lineup change. Not only did they lose their vocalist, but one of their guitarists too who would lend backing screams. This song put me at ease, very excited about the future of Gravemind! The new vocalist was from another aussie band called Iconoclast, I think he may have only done one song with them though
Oh damn didn't know they lost a guitarist too. Well this song shows there's nothing to worry about.
@@METALBIRB definitely nothing to worry about! If you listen through conduit, he’s the one doing the back up screams. Recommend watching their in studio playthrough of Reading:Steiner

Heard of them, but this is my first listen of the band. The singing sections of the song had sort of a Marcus Bridge/Northlane kind of vibe in my opinion. To me, that’s a really good thing lol. Definitely piqued my interest. Thanks for the video MetalBirb!🤘

When they lost their original vocalist I was salty. I hated this when it first came out. Giving it this second listen is what I needed to do. This is actually great! Also Conduit has to be one of the best metalcore/deathcore albums of this era.

Love how these dudes have pushed it a bit. Last record was great, but this tune alone has so much more dynamic. Loved it.

If I didn't know better I would have thought this was a betraying the Martyrs track but thats not a bad thing
..well..at one point, half way through, I thought to myself "Well, fuck me sideways.."..this was so interesting..as some1 who never heard of this band, I really enjoyed this..thx for the reaction.. 🤘😎
I'm trying to hop on the core train, but each time I see a reactor enjoy stuff like this, it occurs to me that I think I just find metal core boring nowadays.
Feel that the cleans have no place in this song they just don't fit the song in my opinion
Hey, Thank u for your reaction but it sounds like a effort to sound like a particular band. So, I feel like it is the usual " cookie cutter " type music! Typical of today music, if that is what you want to call it!
