Thanks Tim. Only the mizzen is new though. The main & genoa are both 5yrs old & we have put way over 30k nm on them. They have held up really well but we do try to look after them.
Ah, my old stomping grounds. Over the years I have sailed up to Thursday Island several times. If you go Directly there from Lizard, you are missing so many great places (but maybe you've already seen them). The Howicks, The Flinders Group, Margaret Bay,... so much beauty, so much fascinating history. I'd say fair winds & following seas, but you've already got them. (& I am sooo totally jealous!) 🐬🐋
I really like your videos and how exiting that your heading to Indonesia (love the place) oh I upgraded my Clansman Rob, to a Cavalier 32...hope to at least do some trips to Sydney and up to Nelson bay....still learning fair winds, oh and I don't know your wife's name Rob is it Sandy? Hi to you 😊 and great work on the channel.
Hey Amanda. Cavalier 32 is also a great boat. Don’t limit yourself to Sydney or Nelson Bay. Get that boat up to NQ for a start. You may underestimate what you are capable of. BTW, Dee does ALL of the videos. I just reply to the comments. She does everything else! 😁. Best of luck to you. There is a whole other world out here. 💕💕
Great video. The wind speed to boat speed info--9+ knots, impressive. Your new sails look great. Envious. Thank you for posting.

Hey Oz. We definitely didn’t run straight through. I am sure Dee will make a video or two of the places we stopped. 👍.
Rob.
great job sailing into cairns. Always something going wrong.😂
Thanks Steve. 😁
I remember the older Yamies 2000s had '2' solenoid's on the engine , That had me going .
This one relates to the isolated earth. Had us going as well trying to work out why it was frying the dash!!!

@@sailingjaygo thanks Rob, Dee is doing an amazing job
I’ll see how we go sailing
👍
Without re-watching the video of the engine installation it seems this is related to some of your initial issues with the engine starting?
Yep. Same issue. Too much current running through the switches in the new style dash panel. All sorted now. 👍.
Vous avez un maramu c'est le voilier que je rêve d'avoir car Mr Amel était un génie
Thanks Roky, we feel very lucky to have one. 👍
