Can't remember Bernhoft, let's see what he got cooking... Nice intro...this starts very promising...now his voice... I like that as well, not only the timbre, also the pacing, his cadence if you want... also the arrangement is beautiful, that delicate funky guitar, the stripped beats, the organ... Yes, this is good...9,2 for me... interesting point about the lyrics, that's one thing why I love RAYE so much... And please don't worry about not featuring her for two weeks, she is very busy these days and I'm getting a new live set almost every other day, Zurich, Wembley, Japan, Reading, Pukkelpop Belgium (extraordinary set!) and what not, that woman is working her ass of to keep me satisfied, I appreciate that! Plus she has a vast back catalogue and I feel I've only scratched the surface so far, just today I found four recordings I had not heard yet and one was an instant favorite... Maybe you want to watch some of her current performances first, but whenever you feel like listening to the most fragile and delicate RAYE, give this one a listen, I'm sure you'd love it:

Wow... I'm lagging behind, BIG time, ain't I ?? I remember suggesting him to you some time back, because I really like him. I'm not "in the boat" so to speak, and I haven't heard this one before. I agree with you, the lyrics here are great, but I have to be honest and say that this is one of his vocal performances that I have liked the least, and rather clearly so. He still sounds good, but sub the Jarle Berhhoft that I fell in love with YEARS ago 🙂 Regardless of that, I highly appreciate that you reacted to more from him. Trust me, he is an amazing artist🙂 Love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥
